For the life of me I just don't understand why Americans are so aggressively political.

Like if any Australian had a sign up on their lawn with scomo's picture on it they'd be publicly ridiculed.

    Y'all whack

The people before us didn't really care who got elected. But we now have to stop the stupid liberals in their tracks. They made us this way. They are the work of the devil. They want to take our guns away, our law enforcemant and they want to riot. But we don't stand for that. Republicans stand for freedom and what makes our country great.

It feels good to live in the USA where we have free speech and care about our elections.

Everything points towards Trump and co being in the shitter and knowing it. From trying to get 117,000 votes thrown out in Texas (a state Biden doesn’t even need to win), having an “unclimbable” wall built around the WH, a plan to declare victory before all votes are cast if he’s momentarily ahead. Trump knows he’s going to lose through a fair election, so he’s pulling out all the stops in desperation to steal it.

As for why he needs to win so bad, It’s probably a combination of narcissism, hunger for power, and him being charged for his many crimes if not in office. Hell, he’s even said, in confidence, that he’s worried about all the investigations. An innocent person wouldn’t be this scared.

    https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2020/11/donald-trump-post-white-house-prosecutions

So in essence, Trump is a scared little baby man who is pulling out all the stops in desperation, because he’s at the end of his rope. He’ll go down unless there’s some blatant fuckery by the GOP/Courts, but he’s going down writhing and screaming, and he’s going to damage America even more because of it. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk

If Trump declares victory tomorrow, while there are still lots of ballots to be counted, would you consider that victory to be legitimate? Keep in mind that by saying “yes”, you’re saying that you want to dismantle the way our democracy and elections work, and that you want to put someone in power who was not voted in by the people.

What? Trump being ahead at a certain point in time has nothing to do with the final count. The order that votes are received is arbitrary.

Nice deflection, by the way. In not answering my question, it’s obvious that Trump is more important to you than the basic framework of American democracy, and that’s all I need to know.

Maybe source the things that fall under "everything" (without using news outlets) before making such a definitive argument. And that article is 1. from Vanity Fair (huge liberal bias) and 2. did not quote Trump about investigations, they quoted New York Times (heavy libeal bias) and their speculation on how Trump feels. Then quoted Trump only about how he might feel if he lost. Had nothing to do with the potential investigations at all (which was a similar if not identical reaction liberals had when Trump won ). Of course again a liberally biased news outlet taking a quote out of context.

If you want to be well informed or even just make a solid argument, try looking for sources that aren't news outlets. News outlets (whether left or right) are terribly biased sources. All biased-filled speculation that is presented as fact. That is exactly why you don't see me citing Fox News or OAN reports or other right wing networks like that.

The Mueller investigation was the most thorough investigation probably in US history, lasted 2.5 years, and was focused on one man (I know it involved many people, but the main attraction was Trump). You'd think they would have found everything under the sun, in the shade, and underground in 2.5 years. Doesn't take a genius to come to that conclusion. If they really had something on him, he would have been prosecuted. Take Nixon for example. They actually had something and it didn't take long to get him out. Oh yeah, and Hillary? Smashed phones and deleted emails using bleachbit? That is actually something, but the investigation was cut short by an arbitrary decision to do so. Not even accused of obstruction of justice. Amazing because Trump can be accused of murder with zero evidence and a full investigation would probably be launched. I'm tired of people claiming that Trump is so full of crime that he would go to prison as soon as he is out of office while offering no evidence whatsoever. (news speculation is not evidence lmao)

If you want an example of a credible source try this out: https://www.whitehouse.gov/wp-conte...l-Memorandum-of-President-Donald-J.-Trump.pdf
Yes it was written by republicans (I think...), but guess what? Is it pure speculation and definitive statements with no evidence? No. The bottom of each page is full of many unique sources from various organizations, documents, reports, and more. That is what a credible source looks like. The sources also provide much more information to look at if you aren't fully satisfied with the document. One of the benefits of having a reputable source. That is... if you actually care about knowing the facts vs clinging to speculation driven by hate and political bias. In the latter case I guess 30 seconds of hateful and biased thinking is better 30 minutes of careful research.

By the way, you probably assume I love Trump with how I refute your "arguments". I don't. I actually don't like him at all. But I also don't like idiotic arguments that are driven by bias and hate (or 5 seconds of thought). I spend a decent amount of time researching things like this because I hate bias that the news (liberal and conservative) spoon-feed people that have become too comfortable believing everything they want to hear without doing some research themselves.

"creating"? Defense against accusations does not creation if a person is innocent of said accusations. The evidence is already their. Unfortunately many people (yourself included) do not spend any time looking outside news networks that spout everything you want to hear, so I have to do the research for you.

I am sure you see me as disposable too, but I don't hate you and if a situation called for it, I would defend you too. (not trying to sound like a "good kid", it's just the truth)
