    I didn't mean to imply that I was against late ballots nor that I believed they had any negative effect on elections (let alone this one). I am only expressing my lack of understanding over the controversy of late ballots. What benefit/detriment do late ballots cause for either party? I believe none, which is why I don't understand the controversy.

    Also, I was unaware that this is how it has always been until recently when I saw on the news that many states already accepted late ballots in passed elections. That being said, I am against changing the way things are for any state in regard to late ballots. If they already do it, keep it that way. If they have never done it before, keep it that way. Don't fix what isn't broken.
