Derivaatta wins definitely. The glitch and spins were awesome, and the squishes were revolutionary. outre is a great auto; the circle wheelie was a nice touch, but nothing crazy like Backtwice and Noob's auto.
16th Matchup - Results derivaatta (ft. Noob) - Backtwice won 5-2. 17th Matchup Continuity - weem vs Elysian 2 - weem
Continuity wins because of the squish at the beginning and the nicer glitches. Elysian 2 is slightly more messy and doesn't have as many jarring movements like Continuity does.
17th Matchup - Results Continuity - weem won 5-2. 18th Matchup Unity - WheelieMaker vs Accelerate, Brake, Lean Back - tetrationiscool
As special as tetration's auto is, Unity has some amazing glitches that just make it more enjoyable than tetration's auto. Again, tetration's auto was never seen before and completely new, but I feel like some potential was wasted in the auto; there could've been more stuff then just wheelies. It's crazy cool, but Unity is just so enjoyable.
18th Matchup - Results Unity - WheelieMaker won 4-2. 19th Matchup 悟り - WheelieMaker vs For cctvcctvcctv - tetrationiscool
this is quite the matchup, but i'm voting for weem's enlightenment because it has quality recycling and glitches. it's not weem's best, but a lot is achieved in a small space and that's what i enjoy most about this track. it also has a sweet hold up / hold right segment. tetration's for cctv^3 is an excellent mtb auto, but a big portion of it is just wheelies. don't get me wrong, the wheelies are very precise and smooth, but i don't find it being a takeaway of the track even though it makes up a big part of it. the most exciting part was the brush squish uptube. tetration also includes a sexy mtb hold up + down + left segment and a delicious bmx hold up + down, but neither lead to the star and imo, it's not enough to beat weem's track in this matchup.
This is a tough decision, weem's auto has some really great use of space and recycling, whereas tetration's auto has beautiful smooth wheelies. However, some of the glitches and spins were not as crazy as some of the other autos weem has made. Although it has great space use, the ways that the rider gets out of the area is not as up to par as weem's normal standards, at least for me. Tetration's auto features probably the smoothest mtb wheelies I've ever seen, and tetration also uses brush with his wheelies, which I find to be extremely hard to make smooth, yet tetration finds a way to do so. The holdup and left mtb and holdup and down bmx auto was super sick as well; loved the use of brush. Weem's auto is still really great, but I feel that tetration's auto is just more enjoyable.
