I believe for many reasons:
Number one, because it is the way I was raised. That is not to say that I only believe bc of that, but it is only right to admit that that is a huge reason. You don't believe because that is likely the way that you were raised. You may have other reasons, but that is a large part of it.

Number two, the logic and order seen in the universe. Sure, there are chaotic things happening, but that is entropy. Even if the universe was created perfect, it isn't going to remain that way for long. There is a ton of proof related to this reason, so I can come back to it later on if needed.

Number three, morality. Morality is something that has come under a lot of attack lately (mostly by the left just sayin'), not just one side's view of morality, but morality itself. The idea is generally that there is no objective truth, which by definition removes true morality from the mix. That is something that we just don't see. For example, are you going to tell me that pi = 3.14159.... is a subjective truth? Even in the most remote tribes have a form of morality that pretty closely mirrors the Christian one.

i want to know more about what you mean by morality because i did not understand how what you said ties into there being an afterlife

 

your first point. yes i was raised as an atheist
second the universe is chaotic, because quantum fluctuations are truly random, even if you knew everything and it's exact position and velocity and mass etc. these quantum fluctuations would still be random and affect things on an extremely small scale
your third point doesn't make sense, morality has nothing to do with god or religion in my opinion, it is simply a matter of people arguing over what they think is right or wrong
also π = 3.14159... don't understand what you mean by that
also π is pi just in unicode

afterimage be the kind of guy who spends almost half an hour copy and pasting a whole website in defence of a topic that he's trying to prove he knows a lot about, and then when he's questioned about not even reading the things he's mindlessly copied he says he has schoolwork to deal with.

so then why are ya arguing on an internet forum with people who evidently know a lot more then you, if you should be doing school.

you cannot base your arguement off a whole list of copy and pasted fact points. the point of an arguement is to get your point across. to do that, you have to give your side of the arguement clearly and concisely in a way that people can understand. copy and pasting stuff to prove your point is not doing that. no one is going to read everything you posted. it just defeats the point of an arguement.

 

not an online one where we all know im not going to be able to convince you otherwise regardless of facts.

 

giving people a bunch of boring facts wont change anything. more often then not, the way in which something is communicated is more important than what is actually being communicated. if you are fact-dumping people wont listen because frankly it is boring. if you want to communicate your opinion the most efficiently, you have to improve the way in which you communicate your view, ie the tone, etc. that will have a larger impact on how people perceive what you are saying

 

but in the end do I really care what y'all think? Its nothing to me

obv not sayin biden does anything better, his presidency is a trainwreck and he's failed to follow through on like 99% percent of the **** he promised on the campaign trail which is likely on purpose (see: jfk) anyways i don't think the 'mean tweets' thing is fair to use in comparison to biden's presidency, i think any regular person knows a tweet really doesn't change anything HOWEVER accusations of forced sterilizations at the border of which he was put under investigation for + rampant racism and hate crimes within his ethno-christian fanbase and fascist ideologies being made mainstream (proud boys etc) are fairly comparable reasons to prefer biden's god-awful neoliberal hellhole of an administration since it lacks those two things despite still posessing the rampant corruption, cronyism and general bullshit that is present amongst republican administrations and all of american politics generally
