Me too. I can make the tracks but when it comes to scenery im like:
hmm....
where should i put this......
and then after a long time:
Nah, I cant do scenery.

 

I just put grass.
And some lines under the main track lines.
I know not that much of a good way of adding scenery, but at least works as a filler.

 

Scenery is easier to put down than black line detail
