Campaign 1 - Track 10 Requirements

    Basic Description:
    Track that uses anything that has been used previously, this is the most difficult track in the first campaign. Checkpoints placed appropriately so that if a player does bail they have a chance to continue. You are free to incorporate whatever else you like called out in the "Allowed" but just don't make too difficult for a brand new player.

    Vehicle:
    MTB

    Time Requirements:
    25-35 seconds to complete

    Difficulty Level:
    Easy/Medium

    Scenery Requirements:
    Only requirement if "Z" is used should be in scenery where appropriate to make a little easier and whatever else you think may make the track easier.
    Other than that scenery details are left to the author.

    Allowed (although don't over do it with everything, this is the 4th track for a new player they still likely suck!):
    +1 Stars
    Straight Track Line
    Basic Scenery
    Boost(s)
    Jump(s) with slow motion(s)
    Loop(s)
    Change Direction "Z"
    Gravity(s)
    Bomb(s)
    Jump(s) without slow motion(s)
    Checkpoint(s)

    Overall track teaches:
    Ties in everything that has been learned. Is the most difficult jump of the first campaign.

    Feedback:
    If you guys have feedback on the track, thinking that we are missing anything please let us know. We don't want to limit creativity but want to set forth these basic game design requirements as teaching a new player how to play is one of the most important things! There will be 10 tracks in total ranging from Super Easy - Easy - Easy/Medium with the last 3 tracks working in most of the aspects / tools available in Free Rider.

    Is it just me or are 8, 9 and 10 virtually the same requirements?

    Pretty much, when we get to track 8 we have covered all basic aspects of the game so only differentiation of the tracks potentially are the length of time to complete.

    These tracks authors will have greater range of creativity, basically the difficulty level + time to complete are the most important requirements with these tracks.

    I see. What are you predicting future campaign tracks will be like? I assume there will easy/medium, medium/hard, hard/extreme, right?

    A good mix of easy/medium/hard for 2nd + 3rd campaigns, then getting into medium/hard/extreme for +4th and beyond.

    What about author specific packs? Later on (after 2nd and 3rd campaigns), you could have authors submit packs of 5 or 6 tracks for you and your fellow Admins to look over, judge on difficulty, and put into a sort of bonus pack?
    Just an idea being thrown out there as I feel that some authors may be eyeing this sort of implication.

    I think somewhere in the First Campaign we should add a secret place that can't be accessible later on in the Campaign. For example, if the player knows how to press Z early, they do it and it brings them to some sort of difficult track of which they manage to complete awards them a badge saying "I found the secret track!".

    Yeah sorry, I have made it a lot longer since then, but I forgot to post it. I just wanna make a couple more changes though, so it should be ready in a couple hours. Also, it will most likely be the final product, unless you want me to change something.

    Looks great la5erbeam , one thing that I would personally like to see is a few less power-ups. This section here killed me a number of times due to the high number of boosts.
