Campaign 1 - Track 1 Requirements

    Basic Description:
    Straight line with 1 goal

    Vehicle:
    MTB

    Time Requirements:
    3-5 seconds to complete

    Difficulty Level:
    Super Easy (meaning almost impossible to not complete)

    Scenery Requirements:
    Basic instruction at start of track, either as a voice bubble or written into the scenery with "Hold Accelerate!". It is not apparent to new players that they need to keep accelerate pressed to move the bike forward. Since this will be for both mobile and desktop we should not reference up arrow as mobile it is "A"
    Arrow pointing to star with text that says "Goal - collect all to complete track!", we need to teach the player that goals need to be collected to complete a track

    Allowed:
    1 Star
    Straight Track Line
    Basic Scenery (don't overwhelm the player, as it is the first track and we don't want them to miss the instructions

    Overall track teaches:
    How to accelerate (hold/press accelerate)
    That goal needs to be collected to complete track
    Introduces timed campaign rewards on track complete


    Feedback:
    If you guys have feedback on the track, thinking that we are missing anything please let us know. We don't want to limit creativity but want to set forth these basic game design requirements as teaching a new player how to play is one of the most important things! There will be 10 tracks in total ranging from Super Easy - Easy - Easy/Medium with the last 3 tracks working in most of the aspects / tools available in Free Rider.

    Wow! That looks great! I love the fact that it is downhill, it is pretty much fail safe unless the player leans left which we can help, even if they just tap accelerate because it is downhill they will eventually get the goal. Going to post requirements to 2nd track to get more options available for authors! Will give this one some more thought / play throughs to see if any other comments come out.

    I dislike the use of grid personally. Everything else is decent.
    Grid is the worst thing to do to your tracks, k? k.

    Yeah well I think it results in very clean buildings and is great for a track where you're not supposed to make everything too detail.

    and so basically campaign 1 is teaching the new riders what to do, how to play, and stuff like that?

    Pretty much ya, showing them the ropes. I will start posting some more tracks so that everyone can get a complete picture of what the first campaign looks like with what we are currently thinking but of course we are open for comments.

    Ideally a new player should be able to complete it in their first play session, max 10-15 minutes. We don't want to have the player rage quit on a track at this point so we can't have anything too tricky, that can start to come in later half of campaign 2 and beyond!

    I removed the tree because the detail was too complex and it did not fit in with the track that way. I replaced it with a simple traffic sign so that the road still looks like it has 2 lanes.
    Any feedback would be great :)
