Hey everyone, I wanted to bring back something I've had a lot of success with in the past. Something I thought up years ago and was a lot of fun (at least that's the general response I got)
Having said that, this one will be 5 rounds, I did 7 last time which was good but a little drawn out. I think 5 is a good balance where it really feels like a series but its not so hard to keep up with that people miss a round.
How does it work?
It's pretty simple. You score points by finishing in the top 10 on the leader board by the set cutoff time.
Since this is initially being posted to inform everyone about this opportunity, the first round will be up for 2 weeks but every round after that will only be up for a week.
I will reupload a new track for the next round the same day that the cutoff is, possibly even before the exact cutoff so be on the lookout
Once the set time has been reached to end the round I will take down the top 10 finishers, give them their respective points and update it here.
Once the final round is completed I will tally up the points and update them here and we will have our champion!
**Rules**
- You must be in the top 10 at the cut off time to score any points
- The final round (round 5) will be double points so be prepared to give it your all if youre in the running for the championship!
- Points chart goes like this
- 25 points
- 22 points
- 20 points
- 18 points
- 16 points
- 14 points
- 13 points
- 12 points
- 11 points
- 9 points
- Current cut off for this round is: Sunday January 5th 7pm Pacific time
- All rounds will end at 7pm on Sundays
**Tie Breakers**
In the even of a tie, I have put in place these things to prevent any debate on what should happen.
If two or more people have the same time at the deadline, they will all receive points for whatever the highest position out of the tie is. For example,
if 2nd, 3rd and 4th all have a time of 22.31, they will all receive 2nd place points.
IMPORTANT! If you have the same time as the 10th placed ghost but are not shown on the leaderboard, take a screen capture of your time and PM it to me here BEFORE the deadline for that round and as long as that time stays in 10th, you will receive 10th place points as well.
In the event that there is a tie in points at the end of the series, ties will be broken as follows.
1) Most wins
2) Next best finish (or if no wins for either, this would be the first tie breaker)
3) Finish in the final round (round 7)
4) Whoever was able to place a ghost in the top 10 first in the series
