I figure I might as well throw in my opinion of why I think this track should be considered as compared to Max's features post. Not saying anyone else's opinion is wrong, this is just how I see it; take it however you like.
Length While the most obvious length of a track may be determined by the fastest time of a track, you should also consider instead how long you spent on the track. For me, that was 10 seconds to beat it, 40 seconds following the auto, another while on the half-pipe, and finally the additional time I spent exploring the map and reading all the text Wyatt had left around for me to find.
Creativity/Originality I think originality/creativity is something which should considered equal value to Detail/Art. To be original in a game that gives you black and white lines can be quite difficult at times, especially when the community expects and prefers a certain style. Admittedly, the feature team has done a great job at increasing their diversity with recent tracks such as "aurora" and "terminal", I just hope we can continue to encourage all kinds of styles.
Layout Kind of combining with what I said in Length and creativity/originality, although each ride on it's own may not be the best or feature worthy at that, the combination of the three paths added something new which I enjoyed.
Ride Can't really say much here. As Max said, it's subjective to who is playing.
Detail/Art He tried something new, it's unique, I love the style, it feels solid and complete. Another subjective category but in this case I don't think he should have points deducted for trying a style of his own rather than relying on a tried and trusted style. This is very much like realism compared to pop-art. Take it for what it is, don't compare the two.
TLDR; Originality is not something to be taken lightly, it's never a bad thing to encourage new things, let me know why I'm wrong if you think so
