ghost jam - 007: lemon jam + lime jam ♫ drinking water, eating fruits, taking care of my body ♪ once a week, we'll have a small ghosting contest based around a theme. there will also be a trackmaking contest you can find here: track jam this week's theme: lemon jam + lime jam ghost collabs! gonna ride some fun collabs. nothing fancy with the scoring. so the rules of the ghost jam are simple: make your ghost before 11:00pm central time, saturday november 2nd no TAS ghosts post a link in this thread! the list of this week's tracks: Born To Explore - time to beat: 4:00.00 Plasticorp 2 - time to beat: 5:00.00 Plasticorp 3 - time to beat: 10:00.00 Candle In The Wind - time to beat: 7:00.00 Oblivion 2 - time to beat: as long as the ghost saves SKATEYARD GRAVEPARK - for trick ghosts. any new ghost to beat the listed time on the five tracks will get FRHD Teams points, 20 points per track. if you already have a leaderboard time (which would mean you have already beaten the listed time), beat your current time to earn points. the best ten trick ghosts on SKATEYARD GRAVEPARK will get points, 40 points for 1st place, 30 for 2nd, 20 for 3rd, 10 for 4th, and 5 points for any other trick ghosts in the top ten. I'm not looking for perfect ghosts with no mistakes or crashes, I'm just looking for cool ghosts. if you guys want to use freerider.app with slow-mode and crouch or any other mods for more options, you can make a video from screen recording for your trick ghost as well. good luck and have fun!

Genuinely glad that this has faded out, and that I didn't even have to think about it for the sake of resting well and taking care of myself. I left the FRHD Discord server temporarily for identical reasons.
so are we done with the comp Ness it was a brilliant idea and fun while it lasted great way to motivate not so experienced players like myself to make some decent tracks and get into ghosting
Volund has expressed interest in taking over as irl stuff has made it difficult to keep up with it, I’d definitely like to see it continue in a more casual format. fingers crossed
I just wish that this was around at a time when freerider was much more popular. People say this game goes in waves, but I just don't think we're getting enough new people that care about this game in comparison to the amount of people that have slowed down significantly or left completely. It's nice to see old faces reemerge every once in a while, but I don't think this game will have another wave big enough. I think it honestly is dying still gonna make tracks and talk to the same 5 people on forums tho lol
The reason is advertising, and 90% of the game doesn't know about forums. You can blame Kano for that. I think Free Rider will stagnate for many years, the activity levels will hardly drop or grow. I'm gonna stay with this community for as long as possible. I have many things to give and it's so unique/niche that I don't want to leave. I love this community despite joining in a time where popularity dropped a lot.

honestly who gaf if this game dies, if u leave due to a dead community u really didnt like the game that much in the first place IMO
