Thanks y'all for the feat! 2015 me would be going crazy rn haha. As for why I called the track NTBF, it's because my detailing improved drastically while making the track (I worked on it on/off for a few years) and I was too lazy to go back and fix my bad details. Maybe one day I'll find the time to truly finish the track
I thought it was generated because of how clean some of the drawings are. I love seeing a master's work transcribed to freerider; it really sets the bar for those of us who like to draw/detail. Tracing this many drawings would take forever, although it wouldn't be particularly difficult. The track isn't very well crafted. The way the drawings are integrated with the ride is pretty fun in some places but for the most part disjointed. I don't think a track should have to be perfect to be featured. I'm not against tracing as long as credit is given to the original artist, but if an image is traced then I expect the traced drawing to be more than just an independent image; I would hope that it would be integrated into the track in a thoughtful way.
nasrani said it well. while it is really cool, its the track as a whole isnt done well enough to justify a feat especially since its traced. not saying its gotta be perfect but integration is a must and it didnt really hit that mark
Double Blacks by nasrani poll results: yea 12 + 1 / nay 0 congrats on the feature, and having the most positive votes for a discussion yet!
