Weird Checkpoint Bug

So basically there is this annoying thing where when I get a checkpoint and I die, I press enter and usually it is supposed to take you back to the checkpoint but it just starts the track over for me.
This only happens sometimes but is still really annoying.

 

Yeah, I get that sometimes too. Since the game developers are no longer active, there's no way to fix this other than perhaps reloading the tab or opening it in a new one. I don't think I've dealt with this issue for a while since I haven't been playing too much, but if I remember correctly, reloading should hopefully do the trick.
