Anyhow, I love that the staff is so active and helpful with fixing and adding ideas into the game.

 

Yeah. As much as I agree with greg on the game aspect, this forum is by far one of the better forums this game has seen, and the devs actually take ideas into consideration, which was often not the case in past versions.

Essays for dayssss

Scoring:
Editor- Its great, but there are sooooo many bugs that makes me wanna put my head thru my screen. I cant even begin to imagine how many threads Ive made complaining about them as well. Using Chrome whilst using the editor is a failure, and considering the game has a lot to do w/ Chrome this should be fixed up. I rage-quit using Chrome a while back and use Firefox now instead for the editor, and even that has some problems (such as the editor going blank, but the code still being there. lolwut). However, the editor re-haul that was done has made the best editor the game has seen (inb4 oldies spaz out). The eraser having multiple functions, new toggled abilities, new grid sizes, new hotkeys etc etc have been great. Mad props on that front. Fix up them bugs and glitches and Ill be happy as a pig in mud.

FPS, CP system- As I started out on this game, I hadnt realized that FRHD was 5 fps quicker than CR. I didnt have a problem w/ it and didnt mind the cp system, it adds a lot more of a challenge to finish a track quickly AND without dying. But as I played BHR and realized that it was 5 fps slower, and the checkpoints did reset your time, I really hate it. Im not one for ghosting, but its a lot more enjoyable trying (and watching) a perfect, non-death, super quick ghost. It allows you to do things such as trying shortcuts over and over again w/out losing time, tricks, trying to gain as much speed as you can until you're content... The list goes on. Would REALLY like for these to be changed.

Forum- The layout is a lot nicer than most forums Ive seen, and the community really couldnt be better. The sub-forums that are here are all great, BUT Char, bud, where tf is that ghosting sub-forum you promised the paper months ago? A part from that spot on.

Vehicle additions- At first I was totally against this, I wanted the game kept the way it was. But having the Heli (and future vehicles) as powerups on a time limit is a great idea. Its a lot more enjoyable being able to play on something other than your standard 2 bikes. The way they were added into the game is ingenious, mad props for this.

So yeah, thats pretty much my thoughts on the game. Despite the average being pretty moderate, my enjoyment of this game is easily a 10/10 (Well, it is if Im not playing a trial, Magnum Opus or InterAmnia...) Love the aspect of creating tracks and thats what kept me at the game. Fix up those editor bugs and Ill be over the moon

The game fps screws with me, there's aspects to this game I still do not enjoy such as the timer, the control of the helicopter.
Tracks are tracks I don't even care, I make them on the old ones 8)
The editor is supposedly fun, haven't tried it yet.

You click 'draw a track' then start drawing and what not, anyway, after you are done with making your track, you can either 'publish' it, or 'export it. Exporting it gives you a code, which you can copy and paste into word or just download. Then you can click 'import' and import your track by pasting the previous code into the slot. To publish it, you click 'publish' and that will get you to give the track a name and description, then you go and play your track and everybody's happy!

 

Oh lol I know that, I was wondering if I could get a code from a track that I lost

Ok thanks, will he also delete some of my tracks or is there like a place to ask for tracks to be deleted? Because I don't want to annoy him

 

Yeah, that's going to annoy him all right! Deleting tracks is something you're going to have to live without for now But If you just ask him (or Eric) to get a code then that should be all G
