Sorry, but i'm disagreeing it. I made my own update that helps fast. The bugs and missing features that need to be fixed are false. Some ideas you made up are different to my thread. It must only be an update of Mario kart edition or higher. Sorry, but I disagreed it.

I'm coming in very, very late on this checkpoint debate, but adding no-death checkpoints wouldn't be the best idea. If you want to get a clean ghost, just simply do a few imperfect runs of the track first, get used to it, then get a legit ghost. However, this is coming from a guy who has a near infinite amount of time on his hands in the summer, and I never played CR or FR3, so my opinion may not actually count towards anything.

 

Possibly never. The only developer that's active these days is Char and it seems he is too scared to make big changes to the game since 'the 12 year old- kidcommunity' might dislike it, so the game stays simple and dull. Too bad since this game could be amazing, like a sandbox styled creative game for young people interested in game-desinging- related stuff.

In my opinion, Char, risks are needed to create something great. If you can't see their possible effects clearly and get stuck in one spot, so will the success. And don't expect the democracy to work among little children, they have no idea what's best for themselves.

There's a mobile game called "Geometry Dash" which is quite similar to this game, but it receives constant updates and remains relevant and interesting. With the same work put into this game, this could be twice as good. I seriously think so.

And the changes could be brought slowly, of course if you slap 10 new powerups to the game some players are gonna get confused and stop playing because they aren't gonna put that much work into learning them all, that's why we could release them slowly (once a week/month), with notes covering what their purpose is. The additional, slightly more complicated powerups/tools could even be another section, like you have to 'activate the advanced tools' in the settings menu, so that people who want to play it simple don't have to mess with those tools.

Like this game has been out for like 7 years now (counting Canvas Rider and FR2), and it hasn't changed one single bit. Goddammit. I don't know why I'm so angry about a single stupid video game....

 

How about FRHD the way it is, and have a side project on the site called FRHD+ or something that includes all the features you mentioned? I personally wouldn't mind that, but it may be too much work for only one dev.

I want to be able to create underwater tracks, cave tracks etc. with the background actually looking like it, without having to use hours on grinding those lines and making it 10k; A more advanced scenery kit would be so nice...

Did Char fix the Invisible line glitch that aways happens. i happens to me i don,t know about you.

 

Someone has probably already said this but, an eject button or another one is that you can lose limbs. Like if u support the idea.

 

Other versions of Free rider had a "Bail" button.. I guess they took it out.
