What's the point when you can see it after the track is uploaded?

Some people like to know before they post their track.

An example of this is when there's a cap on a track for a contest.

This is in the works. It is a bit complicated to do, so bare with me.

Once it's out will you be able to do it to previously uploaded tracks?

This will help me so much with my tracks because I want my next track to be over 300k

If we do this, we are not going to put track size as length of track code.

I have explained this to Elibloodthirst in a private convo.

"Yeah, my only concern with char count is that I am hoping to do some optimization to the track codes at some point, and it will most likely be post processing. We could eventually do something better like "Line count" rather than track code size, as that could change. Line count would never change. Also, char count all depends on where you draw your track. If you draw further out, the coordinates are bigger resulting in a larger track code."

So, I am thinking line count might be the better way to go.

Let me correct myself. Due to the encoding of the track code, the size is somewhat negligible when dealing with larger track coordinates, but it does impact the track code size in some aspect. When compressed, not so much.

In dealing with line count, the line size does come into account , using a curve tool will generate many more lines etc. So its all kind of pointless.
