Okay yeah I get your point, but really at round 1 everyone didn't do their absolute best because everyone released a better track in the second round right? When this contest started the competition wasn't as heavy as it is right now, because everyone is upping their game, so I have to do the same. If people spend like 60 hours on their round 1 entry they could've easily beaten mine

Yeah I know, that's why I didn't flat out call you cocky ;) I'm sure people didn't estimate how much people were gonna get into this. We'll see if people up it again.

Pastebin messes up the code, that's why he doesn't use it.

    Round 2 Rankings

First off I would like to thank everyone who participated in the 2nd round. The 2nd round saw a large step up in competition. And I'm really happy about how Round 2 played out because now the competition will carry over into the 3rd and final round. I'm really excited to see what you guys can do there, but here's the rankings for the 2nd round: (Also Mpatriot stopped by to comment on his favorite entry)

    1. Maple - Vulcan Genesis - 10 points: As much as I would like to put this into comparison with other entries, this one is beyond all the other entries in every aspect. I find the theme and how well it is carried out to be amazing. The 3d factory-ish setting is seen from the same perspective everywhere within the track, which is quite a huge achievement. Some of the small things I loved from the track include the Transformer-esque robot and the reactor below the rider at the beginning. Other than being the unanimous favorite to win, the track in general showcases your ability while switching up the track just enough to make it the most well made entry this round.

    2. alexander - Seventh Sea - 9.5 points (tie) *pssst's pick*: On this one I really struggled to judge, because I love the theme and how well it is executed into the track so much that a couple times I wanted to put it in first. However, the standard in all aspects made a jump this round. As far as playability, this one I find to be the most fun. What speaks to me though is how original the ocean island theme is, I love the cartoonish look of the seaweed, castle and clouds; while I play it, I find this one to be the most pleasing to the eye. And to be honest, this track deserves to be featured, "but that's none of my business" - Kermit.

    3. crane - Psychosis - 9.5 points (tie): While I'm suggesting tracks to be featured, this one does too, for reasons unrelated to this contest. Because if this art was as well made on a track unrelated to this contest, it'd be featured, "but that's none of my business" - Kermit. That being said, the art in this track is amazing, too a point where I was caught completely off guard, even more so than maple's. The entire abstract scene of the track is amazing to me, because I've always been a fan of dark, tribal and post-pop art. And I love how you let the detail influence the track. My favorite bits from it were the head sucking the intelligence out of the other head, the snake breathing fire and those japaneese waves and whale. Those 5 buttplugs better feature this.

    4. elephant_breeder - Valenwood Inn - 9.2 points: Some butthurt people are probably are gonna be on my ass for this, but this placing was well deserved. I personally am in love with your style and how sketch-like it is. That being said I love how you executed a forest theme into the track, and this quite possibly is the most original entry. Some of the things that struck me is how much depth the forest had, unlike many forest tracks, it wasnt limited to a single foreground and background, rather the track seemed to go back farther into the woods. I also loved the treehouses.

    5. Max007x - Stacked Containers - 9.1 points **Mpatriot's pick**: When I first did the codes, I assumed most people would try for a skatepark theme. And this track did a great job at that. The track reminds me a lot of Plasticorp 3, one of my favorite tracks of all time. That being said I loved that the track's setting was at a dock and you could see the city behind it, I felt that was an awesome touch that brought a lot of depth to the track. I also love the crane, anchor and lifeboat, it really added a lot of character to the setting.

Mpatriot: I like Max's the best, because it was really fun to play and pleasing to look at. His and maple's were the best out of what I saw.

    6. Foundations - Paradise Now (Essence Remix) - 8.9 points: I like the shoutout to wheeliemaker you put in the track, wish you would've done me too :(. BUT the story is really awesome, in fact, the story seems kind of personal. If that's your story that is really cool that you put it into the track. Also, I love how you carried the apocalyptic theme of the original track and reimagined it in your's. Some other things about it I like was the boy parts (i found funny), the red dragon which looks like a sushi bar/japaneese club/whoknowsbutitsasian and the random comments on the walls that could be perceived as dialogue from people within the setting.

    7. Elibloodthirst - Metric - 8.7 points: The grid detail is extremely original. How you took your style and made a grid version of it is insane. But grid art, I don't value it anymore than regular art and in some cases less, so the massive amount of time I know you spent on it, I wish you hadn't because in this case it is not the separating factor to put you within the top 5. The main thing I really love about the track itself, is that the detail is near entirely grid and I know that took a lot of effort to make an aesthetic style to apply to the track. Also, much love for the softcore porn and metric system.

    8. Egghead - The Leak - 8.5 points: New school and in2theabiss. I appreciate the fact that you really took control of the track, hence the self-shoutouts. I thought this track, had the best additional material added to it, it gave great direction for the original left present while still being fun to ghost. The detail you added was really nice and connected well with the entire track. I love how you boxed in nature detail this round and last one, I feel while being random it provides a great visual to go along with the track.

    9. YoYo124 - Doomed Planet - 8.3 points: CLEARLY inspired by mr..a, and a lot of people are saying "ripoff" but I prefer the term inspired because although similiar they just seem to be a twist on his style, a lot like the remix itself. I love this one for the playability of it, I feel a lot of challenging, well placed goals were added on to the track that makes it loads of fun to ghost. I feel the track really lacked something to highlight itself with, although fun, I didn't see much growth from the original.

    10. FOIL - Nighttime Ride - 8.2 points: Doesn't really look unfinished. I thought your detail of the night sky and mountains was super original. If finished this may have been the most accurate depection of a night time setting within this game I have ever seen. Really the moon and the contents of the house right of the track was really awesome. But if you say it's unfinished, I guess I have to treat it that way.

    11. nin10dorox - Eye Decay - 7.8 points: There was a lot of great ideas in rerouting the track, however, they didn't seem well done. By the amount they were forced it didn't come out being that fun. The detail was alright. The track isn't outstanding in much of any way.

    12. EliteKitten - The Rocky West - 7.5 points: I like the initial reusage where you redetailed it into a western mountain track, however the track transitions into a fairly blank area without any personalization. However I like the idea and the goal was achieved.

    13. RiderExtreme2 - Escape the Gorge - 6.9 points: Those trees though. Really the track wasn't changed much at all, it needs loads more of personalized character in every way. Those trees though.

    14. TiMartin1069 - Point Zero - 3 points: Good track mate, but it didn't have much of any relation to the original.
