Thoughts on matcha?

Where I live guys drink it arguably more than girls. But that could just be because of the "performative male" trend that's going on right now.

I've personally never tried it though.

 

I actually have a little matcha tin, that I bought last Christmas to make some things for some gastronomic studies I was doing.
I think that matcha by itself it's undrinkable, it tastes literally as if you took a bunch of grass and straight ate it, however, if you mix it with milk, basically making a latte, it's actually pretty decent.
I like mine sweet, so I usually add a bunch of sugar, but you don't have to, just now it's gonna taste earthier.

As a performative male, I've never tried it
