      Reading about maple's tactic of using less detail and negative space to keep attention on the parts you want it on has been super useful. I might actually finish a track for once instead of detailing things nobody is gonna see. It is weird coming back to drawing tracks after only drawing on a canvas/ paper for the past 5 years. I recommend taking this idea to heart for those who detail as heavy as I do it will save you so much time and effort.

      yes, but then again, negative space itself could be a "detail", imo. Its just what the creator feels, and i think maple is the type of creator who wants us to be immersed in the detail, hence the lack of negative space.

      its actually 50% just looking at what you have and trying to decide why tf you made it so big and how you are gonna be able to finish it

      i mean it makes sense for a comprehensive ride but i like the full are and attention to detail where nobody other than the ppl that actually give af about the art are gonna look. guess thats why all my tracks are massive and unf
