the tracing is not a huge deal, just don't do it again. i know it might be a little embarrassing but nobody's perfect.
agree with this ! tracing is fine to learn with, as long as it isnt published or passed off as your own. maple wrote something similar when radium was accused of tracing. as a tangent, i learnt heaps from all but plagiarising max's trees, and eventually got to a point where i could draw them without just copying 1:1. i dont think my "referencing" was much better than tracing, but the difference is i was open about the source material (though in fairness, how couldnt i be lol) and it never was published. Sltg28 all this to say, youre talented enough as is - dont take cheap shortcuts to get there! keep learning however you see fit, but make sure all your published work is original and youre honest about your art journey : )
