the tracing is not a huge deal, just don't do it again. i know it might be a little embarrassing but nobody's perfect.

tracing is fine to learn with, as long as it isnt published or passed off as your own. maple wrote something similar when radium was accused of tracing.

as a tangent, i learnt heaps from all but plagiarising max's trees, and eventually got to a point where i could draw them without just copying 1:1. i dont think my "referencing" was much better than tracing, but the difference is i was open about the source material (though in fairness, how couldnt i be lol) and it never was published. Sltg28 all this to say, youre talented enough as is - dont take cheap shortcuts to get there! keep learning however you see fit, but make sure all your published work is original and youre honest about your art journey : )

so much more that i'll leave a surprise, but happy to be making a track again. ~4600k (though that doesnt mean anything really). last last preview. gunning for hallow's eve/halloween release. then off to work on nessulant.
