Hello guys! This could be one of the biggest things I ever do in this game, but I am officially starting a community collab to get every significant, important and great who has ever played the game onto one big track! This has been inspired by the Wall of Fames by DblU over the years and the recent attempt of dogmatix to make one on a smaller scale.

Selecting players
The concept is simple, I will make a list of people (in alphabetical order) who I think are worthy of being on the Wall of Honour and the first job as a community is to come up with more people who are worthy or justify some who aren't up the standard yet.

For example: The latest person who I think is worthy to make the Wall of Honour is Wellebelly and the highest of honours goes to people like mR..A for what they've achieved overall in the game. There is no definite number of worthy people but the main metric for consideration is if the player has gotten at least 1 featured track, had a couple of featured ghosts, played for a very long time or is quite influential in the community for whatever they do.

To put this metric into perspective, I TPlacella have made 1 featured track (soon to be 2 maybe), have influenced the non-spacebar community and been a helpful member who knows a lot about the recent history of the game to help others on Discord or forums. Someone like TPlacella with those points made would put him on the lower end of the spectrum for the Wall of Honour members.

The name tags
The main part of this community collab is making the name tags. You can nominate yourself to make a tag of someone from the list and send the code to me. NO MAKING RIDES, the first stage of the collab is to get all names done in the editor and once the main ride of the track is complete, I can use the Dream Machine to put them into the track. No matter how influential or good someone is/was at the game, all Wall of Honour members will appear in alphabetical order.

If someone has a forum account separate from their main account, like Elibloodthirst with deadrising2, then Elibloodthirst will be the name tag for that player. No alt accounts for the name tags and you can't nominate yourself unless you're really special in this game lol. Try to mix things up with the font or design for people's name tags. Get inspiration from what they're known for or their pfp on forums or in-game.

The track
What I'm achieving for the track is for it to be a long jump line with dirt jumps, plank jumps, skateparks, forests, offroad, city-based and so on, depicting the simple history of FRHD with most of the website consisting of jump tracks. The track will not be made for quite some time as our efforts are mainly selecting people atm and making tags for them. The length of the ride/track is undecided as we need to make all the name tags first before this process starts. Again, if one section is not up to standard, it will get redone, so be prepared to give your best efforts.

The big picture and guidelines
There is a possibility that your name tag will get rejected for being of poor quality or not up to standard. Please take time to make them look nice and it would be amazing if we get heaps of decent trackmakers who are active to take part in the name tag stage. We are shooting for around 200 players on the Wall of Honour. Also, even if someone has a featured track or featured ghost, they most likely won't make the draft list as their impacts on the game haven't been as big as others.

To make this easier to understand, 90 players have made at least 1 featured track and about half of them have made enough impact on the game to make the Wall of Honour. All the best ghosters are put into the Top 100 Ghosters List (which is going to be updated in March of 2024 from current knowledge). And again, maybe 60 of the 100 are worthy to make the draft list. This leaves room for well over 50 more people to include any other suggestions from you guys like FIREBEATS who has been extremely influential on forums. Also, people like E12 can easily make the draft list due to many fun tracks he has made over the years even though he has 0 featured tracks.

Let's go big here guys, I want this collab to be memorable and most importantly, include heaps of great players from this wonderful game of ours. If you have any questions just ask them below. Do not flood this thread with random messages, don't send any track codes unless it is the official track code. Send name tag codes to me on Discord or Conversation on forums. You can send screenshots of your work here for updates on progress or tips from others. Make sure to read the spoiler and other information from others about who is doing what.

i still think this list idea is dumb since having a definitive community wall of fame where the list of people in it is based off of one persons (your) personal opinion is very stupid. you should either a. redo the list with other peoples help or b. just run it like all of the past wall of fames, as it is right now its very questionable. like you've put people on the list that peaked at 2 feat ghosts who have otherwise had minimal impact on the game yet you didn't even put Pro_rider_legend/Lowkeyy on the list who (even though he sucks) is arguably more influential than most of people on the list as he was almost sorely responsible for like 80% of tracks published in 2017, and you didn't even include people like moose_man graggen who were VERY influential in the game before the HD era, while there's also some people on this list that I have never even heard of (who tf is unknown-rider or setsu lmao) and I've been playing this game for like 7 years. i mean you've also got yourself on here, which is also questionable and personally i don't think YOU should get to decide whether YOU are influential enough. i mean i personally consider myself more influential in the community than you but i sure as hell wouldnt be putting myself on this list if i made it, I shouldn't get to make that call. k rant over

1. you make it sound like you're heaps better than me, tbh we are both on the same plane of influence on the game. like I'm possibly about to get a second featured track and I'm always active, always helping people, and I've impacted the non-spacebar community as well.
2. did you not read my main post, you can add people or question people who are on the list so far, this isn't my opinion (people have already suggested a few to me and I've added them)
3. how tf do you not know who unknown-rider or setsu is, you've been in the community longer than me. setsu used to be pandagaming01 and is a really good ghoster but has now left the game recently and unknown-rider was also a really good ghoster from like 4-5 years ago. setsu was recently given 2 featured ghosts and is top trial/tube ghoster, tbh this is all common knowledge.
4. graggen and moose_man didn't make any frhd tracks, they are canvas rider trackmakers or what not so they are ineligible to be on the hall of fame (these rules apply to the top 100 tracks, no canvas rider, black hat rider or other tracks counted I believe, only frhd ones)
5. DID YOU NOT READ ANY OF MY POSTS. this is a draft, not the final list, so I will add Pro_rider_legend and others, chill man
6. how is this idea stupid, it's a cool excuse to make a large jump track whilst also adding famous frhd people's names on it
7. if you don't like the idea then so be it, there is a bloody reason why I'm not making the track yet and asking people to make name tags and debate who should not be on the list and who should. if you don't like some people on the list then give me a list of people you want added or removed. simple.
8. sham talked to me, I can cut the list down a bit, but I hope what I said made sense.

 

i believe tplacenta should be on the list, the whole shi.tstorm he started in the top 100 thread is good enough lol

 

UPDATE: 16 people are currently being put as "debated" as there are complaints the list is too long

i think the idea is fine but maybe we call it something else? the original wall/hall of fame tracks were used to show who was active at the time of creation, to show what the community looked like at a particular time regardless of skill etc

Guys, except for what this community collab is called, the idea itself is pretty fine. You could argue that TdunningkrugerPlacella shouldn’t be the guy to judge who is or isn’t influential however you want, but compiling all the cool people into a track is a nice idea. Though I will say literally everyone in the “debating” category is more known than he is in my book lol.

we need a wall of shame honestly

 

You made the this community collab to display the most popular people who have played over the course of the existence of the game. And clockwe2 while he played was someone who was very good. Just because they predated the time you joined the game doesn’t make their impact less known. IMO by excluding people who you (someone who has a skewed perception of player popularity) deem less worthy of being on the list is a contradiction of the entire point of the list in general. In all honesty this is a great idea for a track, but maybe just don’t exclude anyone. Free rider wouldn’t be where it is now without the input of thousands of people. To narrow it down feels like an insult to many many people who have honestly worked very hard. If someone is known about enough to the point they can be debated on the list, then that itself makes them known. But idk man you do you.

 

Ye this all makes sense but people complained about the list being too big so idk, that’s why it’s in the draft phase. But I guess the more people the better. Also this isn’t popularity based, loge made that point when saying I’m not as influential as him. It’s mainly about achievements in the game in ghosting or trackmaking, presence in the community like forums, historical factor for their legacy and when/how long they played, and overall influence on FRHD community.

 

if it's not based on popularity, don't call it a wall of fame
