POLL Should we do ORG next year?

Not sure. The ORG was a success and we like to host it, it's just a lot of work, you know? The whole team is starting to get even more busy with school, work, among some other IRL stuff, so it's not a matter of how this year's experience with ORG was. It's just something looking to our own future. But it's not like we decided to not do it, we are just putting a few things in perspective and tryng to figure out how the next year is looking for us on FRHD. I hosted the FRWC5 this year, the ORG and I co-hosted the GBC3 as well, so I'm hosting contests pretty much without a break since January, and it will continue like that all the way to December. If we consider that this same team does the Official Featured Ghosts reviews, the FRHD Top 100 Ghosters lists, the monthly Ghosting Awards and that 2 of the people in the team (Eryp and I) also have moderating duties (that can be a lot sometimes) in the game, it might be a bit much. We have been spending a good amount of hours in the game and forums to manage everything, and at least in my case, I'm not sure if it was the most healthy decision with everything else I have to do in life. So yeah, we are reconsidering some stuff. If we have a way of making it work without compromising our life priorities, we probably will do it next year, since it was a cool experience, but if we can't, maybe that can be something we might have to drop or significantly reduce from our schedule.

But yeah, we appreciate the poll, and maybe the interest people have in this might help us figure out a healthier way to do this next year, maybe with a bigger team or a different format. Let's see how it goes.

 

Not sure. I'm not planning on hosting contests anytime soon. But maybe eventually. I won't make any promises, though.
