List Official Featured Ghosts

SMALL UPDATE - ABOUT UNVERIFIED GHOSTS AND UNFEATURED GHOSTS DUE TO TECHNICAL PROBLEMS:

Hey guys, what's up? We decided to make a small update regarding the Unverified Features and the Unfeatured Ghosts due to technical problems. The ghost from gavin.anderson.37 on Gavin's Soup pushed us to do this, since we couldn't find a clear confirmation that the ghost isn't legitmate, but we don't have many reasons to believe it is either, especially since the user doesn't have many other good ghosts that are even remotely close to this skill level. Yeah, the fact that an user named Gavin beat Gavin's Soup, a track with the ghost considered by many the best or 2nd best one from last year, that was highly praised in the Ghosting Awards and FRHD Awards makes it more suspicious for sure. That ghost being the first featured ghost from the user is just not realistic at all. On top of that, the user doesn't even have a forum account, so a ghost that was talked a lot in the forums being the first target for a feature raises even more suspicions about the legitimacy of this ghost. Even if it is legit, it's still most likely from an unverified alt, so we couldn't just throw away tetrationiscool's legendary feature like that. So we decided to make some changes.

We decided to review all of the Unverified Features to see if the best verified ghosts (ghosts in 2nd place) were considered good enough for the list. We realized that someone could show up and do some cheating we couldn't detect and beat all of the features, so what would we do? Put all of the features (except trickghosts and the ghost in the Other category) as unverified and lose almost all of them because of one user or because of a small group? Nah, we shouldn't do that. From now on, if an unverified user beats a feature, if we can detect that the ghost isn't legitimate, we'll delete the ghost. If we can't, we'll keep the ghost there and will proceed to keep the 2nd place featured in the Other category (for most of the cases at least).

As for the Unfeatured Ghosts due to Technical Problems, we realized that we need to move on in some tracks. For example, some of Madara's features were deleted by Stig, but we still keep track of them there, but without the actual times from Madara's ghosts, so it doesn't really makes that much sense. For the broken ghosts, if we believe in the legitimacy of the user, it's different, since we have the actual time as the parameter, and for the deleted tracks it's different, since the tracks and ghosts are still there, but only the mods can access. Just like mR..A wanted his tracks back in the game and we got some features back, that could happen with the other tracks that have featured ghosts, so we should keep the links there still. But for the cases we could discuss about the features, we did. Some will be featured, some won't and we want to see a challenge in some of them. So here's are our reviews for the Unverified Ghosts and the Unfeatured Ghosts due to Technical Problems:

NOT FEATURES:

Cerasium (1):
https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/483251-should-i-make-more-of-these/r/cerasium - This is a second place for one of Silent-Rider's features. To quote Anonyymi: "It's a 20 sec uphill ghost with at least 2 clear mistakes and not too special in other parts, so a no from me."

Madara (1):
https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/576233-chopper-expert/r/madara - It's 2nd place for Cerulean's broken featured ghost, but we decided to make a review anyway, since the list is all about showcasing the best ghosts. If it was close enough we could have considered it. But nah. 4 seconds behind the featured ghost is too much in in this case. Good ghost, though.

CHALLENGES:

Anonyymi (2):
https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/294635-crumble/r/anonyymi - We all agreed that this is basically good enough, especially since it was very close to Madara's deleted feature here and it was even improved by Anonyymi later. Madara's ghost was an iconic one and a bit more optimized, so we'll make this a challenge for now. But if it doesn't get beaten by the time we make the next update, we might give the feature to Anonyymi, since it's a pretty solid ghost.

Legendary_Authors (1):

Not exactly sure of who made this ghost, since more than 1 player used this account. Another featured ghost deleted from Madara here.

RedOrBlue (1):
https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/803992-cerasium/r/redorblue - No one seem to fully remember what was Madara's time here before his ghost was deleted, so although it kinda is good enough, we decided to make a challenge here to be sure about the level of this ghost.

"NEW FEATURES":

Anonyymi (1):

Madara (3):
https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/683255-climb/r/madara - Really solid ghost and competition, just behind Silent-Rider. It would be a feature if Silent-Rider's ghost wasn't there, so since we don't know if Silent-Rider is legit or not, it'll be a feature.
