NOVEMBER 2021 - Ghosting Awards Results

GHOSTERS OF THE MONTH:

1 - RadiumRC - This was actually hard to decide, since we had 3 players that kept exactly 6 features from last month, lol. But since Silent-Rider wasn't active on anything else, we had the main battle is between RadiumRC and Cerasium, that were both in the ORG and participated in many ghosting battles last month. I honestly think it's pretty even. The award could go to any of you, but we ended up picking RadiumRC. First of all, I think your improvement in the past few months, especially in the last one, was really remarkable. You are totally on a top-notch level right now. Yeah, some could argue that the features Cerasium stole were more iconic, and some of them were, but although 5 of your 6 features from last month were auto cuts, you stole like some of the best auto cuts we had. Your ghost on Paratrooper and (especially) on Wheelie were phenomenal and your helicopter feature on Caves Trip was one of the best vehicle ghosts I have ever seen. Yeah, you won 4 out of your 5 ORG matches that took place at any point in November, while Cerasium won all 5, but Cerasium didn't do that good in the helicopter one (still better than me, r.i.p.). Cerasium's combined time for the ORG rounds from November was of 187.54 seconds, while your combined time for the same ORG rounds was of 183.20 seconds. This is crazy. Yeah, Cerasium got first place overall 3 times and you only 2 times last month in the ORG, so it would be 3x2 for Cerasium if you guys were facing each other, but the 6.47 seconds distance in the heli round alongside the auto cut features, fast ghost features and also some good trickghost suggestions showed that you might have the potential to be more versatile. Also, you were way more active with the suggestions for a feature this month and the suggestions were way more diverse, so we ended up deciding to vote for you here. It's your first win on this and first time on this top 3 as well, so congrats! You were doing good this year but you were never this good before and last month you managed to go neck and neck with the most active ghoster in the game right now, so since it was pretty even, we think you deserve the 1st place.

2 - Cerasium - Great month, legendary ORG month with 5 wins, got 8 features (but kept 6 - lost one to RadiumRC and another to Silent-Rider) and secured the ORG regular season 1st place 1 week in advance. I could see you in 1st place for your achievements, but we have to remember that this ORG 1st place isn't that much related to your efforts last month. You faced me once last month, DrChill and RedOrBlue didn't ghost during the whole month, so it's not like you had your best moments and toughest fights in the contest, despite doing really good regardless. Yeah, you had three 1st places overall in the rounds (2 went to RadiumRC), but we thought you had a month that was pretty much equal to what RadiumRC had. The difference is that RadiumRC managed to be even more active than you with the suggestions and ghosting battles, and as we said, we thought that RadiumRC's ghosts were more diverse. Yeah, you did great in the blob round, so I guess you tried some new stuff as well, but we do think that RadiumRC was slightly more active and deserves this one. But I could totally see you in 1st place, though. It was a pretty even battle. This was your 9th time in the top 3, with all of the participations being in this year, so congrats for the really impressive year. Really solid job!

3 - Silent-Rider - Well, what can we say? Just like RadiumRC and Cerasium, you kept 6 features last month. Good ghosts, insane level of climbing skills, very impressive stuff. We are still not sure about who this is, but here is your first participation in the top 3 (but is it, though?). Not a forum account for us to mention you (why is that?), but you did a very good job last month, and is still keeping it consistent this month. Let's hope we find out who this awesome ghoster is eventually.

Shoutouts: I feel like the big shoutout was for Silver_bird7, that up to the end of November was still undefeated in the ORG, doing some impressive ghosts, including that one in the match against RadiumRC that granted him a last minute win. Good stuff, man. RubeGoldberger, TheMemeBiker and Skriper also had sick ORG performances last month and CHARREDLIZARD21 had a good ORG performance and a featured ghost from last month. Sidewalk also had some good ghosts and a feature from last month.

UPDATE: Due to a recent change in the rules for the ghosting community, Silver_bird7 is officially taking Silent-Rider's 3rd place in November 2021.

We had the votes from 4 different members of the team. 1 vote went to Cerasium's epic ghost on woof, that beat Anonyymi's first ever featured ghost in the game, another vote went to Cerasium's ghost on haha scrance 3 that beat the Ghost Of The Month from April 2021, and 2 votes went for RadiumRC's ghost on Caves Trip, that destroyed Madara's feature on the track by far and got the first place overall on that ORG round. Really solid stuff! Congrats to RadiumRC for also winning this award for the first time!

DECEMBER 2021 - Ghosting Awards Results

GHOSTERS OF THE MONTH:

1 - Symantec - This month was really tough to decide because the competition was held at an insane skill level. The real winner of this month was Theft, lol. You guys got us confused with the shared account that was stealing many features, but this top 3 would go for you guys regardless, haha. The Theft thing just made the decision harder. Any of the top 3 could win this award in most of the months with the level of ghosts you guys showed in December 2021, but at the end of the month only one player could be the winner, and this player was Symantec. Despite not really joining the ghosting contests, you got the insane amount of 36 features in December, showing an incredible versality and a really insane level of skill and consistency. In my top 42 ghosts of the year list you secured 13 participations, and all of these ghosts were made last month, lol. Incredible stuff. You got features in all 4 categories, proving to be decent at everything, but particularly good in tube tracks and trickghosts. Really legendary work, man! One of the best months of any ghoster ever on this game! There's many suggestions from you that can get even more features for you from the month of December, but we didn't have the time to review them yet. Insane work! Congrats on your first participation in the top 3 ghosters of the month and for your first win as the Ghoster of The Month. Good stuff!

2 - RadiumRC - Up to like December 26th or something I was sure you would get the win but Symantec just kept stealing features, lol. Also, many of the features you got from the update weren't made in December, and I remember that this fact helped you get the win last month, so if we are talking about what was done in December, we felt like it was fair to give the 1st place to Symantec, despite your legendary month. You won the last ORG round, which put you in 4th place overall and granted you a feature, you won the End Of Season Tournament having a legendary ghost in the Semifinals against Cerasium, which granted you another feature and you got 26 featured ghosts total from December, which makes you have features in all 4 categories as well and allowed you to reach a crazy amount of 50 features total. What a legendary month! We are not putting you in first only because we felt like Symantec's ghosts were bit better overall. So since Symantec had a lead of 10 features + some amazing suggestions, he ended up with the 1st place. But your month was also one of the best months from a FRHD player ever. Congrats! You are getting your 2nd top 3 participation in the Ghoster Of The Month award. Congrats!

3 - Cerasium - Great month as well. 14 features, active month, 3rd place in the End Of Season Tournament and took the win in the ORG. Had some epic matches in the EOST against Sidewalk and RadiumRC as well. Pretty solid month, but it wasn't enough to match what RadiumRC and Symantec did. Still pretty solid, with your Theft ghosts helping a lot here. This is the 10th top 3 participation from you in the Ghosting Of The Month award, with all of them being in the last year. You were in the top 3 in 10 out of 12 months this year. Very impressive, man!

Really solid work on a previously unbeaten track for years. We had some other cool ghosts like Symantec's ghosts on Unforgiving 4, 0-0-1, 3D Skatepark, haha scrance 4, haha sc rance 17 and haha scrance 19 and RadiumRC's ghost on Metro, but we decided to go with Unforgiving 2. Congrats Symantec for your first participation in this award!

JANUARY 2022 - Ghosting Awards Results

GHOSTERS OF THE MONTH:

1 - Symantec - We start this year of 2022 with the most legendary month for anyone of Free Rider HD (and possibly any Free Rider game) ever. Yeah, it was concerning for sure, not gonna lie, because I feel like Symantec spent a bit too much time on Free Rider, but the numbers he achieved were absolutely insane. I think Cerasium got over 30 features in a month once (that were made on that month) and Symantec sure did it last month with 36, but Symantec decided to not only beat, but to absolutely destroy the previous record of new features stolen and kept in a month. The guy kept an insane amount of 74 FEATURES that he stole in January. Like, what is this? And we can't even say that he went for the easy ones because destroyed many epic features from Anonyymi, RedOrBlue, Cerulean, Cerasium, Ninjasparkour, Xverse and others. Insane stuff. Easy first place, the most dominant one ever on this game. The guy surpassed 100 features and set the new all-time record for features and has over 60 insane suggestions that we'll review eventually. The guy is on fire and is totally the man to be beaten right now. You can chill a little bit now, though, haha. To make our job easier. lol. Some crazy ghosts, possibly the best skill we have ever seen in some types of tracks, great versatility. Good job! This is your 2nd top 3 participation and 2nd first place, nicely done!

2 - Sidewalk - In the era of guys like Symantec, RadiumRC and Cerasium, it's not being easy to stand out in the ghosting community of the game, but you managed to do just that last month. You MIGHT have reached your all-time record of features, you had a solid comeback with a great evolution in your skills, especially on offroad tracks. You are also doing great on some trials and climbs, which is cool, because it's not easy to keep up with today's standards on those types of tracks. You joined many ghosting battles, got and kept 9 features from last month, so great job, man. Pretty solid month! Deserving 2nd place. Second time you get in the top 3, second time in 2nd place.

3 - RadiumRC - That's right ladies and gentlemen, after 9 months in a row with him in it, we have no Cerasium in the top 3, but we'll talk about it later. RadiumRC almost took like a month off from FRHD, but he finished the month strong, with some features and ghosting battles in the last week, that were enough for him to finish in 3rd place. He ended up keeping 5 features stolen from last month, one of them being a feature stolen from Symantec and another one of them being a tie with Symantec. Solid job, top-notch ghosting as usual, very deserving 3rd place. This is the third time (an the third time in a row) that RadiumRC finishes in the top 3 ghosters of the month, and the first time he finishes in 3rd place. Good job, man!

Shoutouts: There's 2 main shoutouts for the performances in January 2022. First one goes to Cerasium, that had a good month, joining some ghosting battles, getting 2 features (but one of them was stolen) and being somewhat active, but it wasn't enough to keep being in the top 3 ghosters for the 10th month in a row. With a similar performance we had Unghosted as well, that deserves the second shoutout. He also was kind of active, got 2 features (with one of them being stolen as well) and joined some ghosting battles as well. Good stuff! Another small shoutout goes to Trikflip, for that win against DblU.

UPDATE 1: Due to the recent discovery of Symantec cheating on some tracks, we are revoking his 1st place here. Sidewalk will get the official 1st place, RadiumRC will get the official 2nd place and Unghosted will get the official 3rd place (his month was pretty similar to Cerasium, so since his featured ghost was better we are going with him).

GHOST OF THE MONTH:

But we decided to pick Symantec's ghost on eZbolaids because of how iconic that ghost was, which even got a reaction from Anonyymi when his ghost was beaten. Some other cool shoutouts go to Symantec's ghosts on Planet NTBF (where he beat one of my favorite ghosts from the list with a solid pace and a solid shortcut), Unforgiving 4 (where he improved the ghost with an almost unbelievable cut), Unforgiving 2 (where he improved an already really solid ghost) and Calculus's Contest (where he beat a very technical track with a near perfect ghost). He had many epic ghosts as well, and RadiumRC and Sidewalk also had some dope ghosts, but I feel like last month was again Symantec's month. 2nd time ever and 2nd time in a row that Symantec gets this award. Congrats!
