Non-Spacebarrer Featured Ghosts [CLOSED]

NOTICE: Due to the inability to properly judge whether a ghost has been spacebarred or not, this project is being officially discontinued.

In the event that a fair method might ever be established to properly distinguish a non-spacebarred ghost from a spacebarred one, an archive of the original thread format is saved below:​

To quote from mR..A on his thread, with minor adjustments:

We're looking for your fastest ghosts to feature, if you think it's unbeatable by any other non-spacebarrers and holds a strong position on the leaderboard (we're talking top 5), then post the link and we'll consider it. Undoubtedly people will try to beat the suggestions, this should help to raise the bar and encourage competition between riders. You can suggest your own ghosts or others from fellow club members if you spot a good one.

We're also looking for the most impressive and stylish trick ghosts to feature, if you feel you sometimes can’t match the speed of some people, work on your tricks.

Criteria for fast ghosts – maintaining speed, minimal mistakes, smoothness, creative shortcuts, finding interesting paths of flow, close calls, endurance, managing tricks within a very fast run, no easy hold up tracks, and can’t be a 10 or 15 second ghost

Criteria for trick ghosts – creative tricks, flow, smoothness, minimal mistakes, nice style to watch, endurance, difficulty will be judged and no 10 or 15 second suggestions

Judges are Calculus, Totoca12 and Sannin

how can u prove if someone is spacebarring or not? are spacebarrers allowed to make a non-spacebarring ghost?

Us 3 will determine if it's spacebarred or not. No you can not make a ghost without spacebarring. Once you spacebar you are eliminated from entering the list.
Edit: this thread is for those who don't have a chance entering the official featured ghosts. If you spacebar, why would you try to be on this list anyway?

Pretty much what freaky said above, spacebarrers won't be allowed onto the list under any circumstances. If you know for certain somebody on the impending list spacebars, you can call them out and there's a chance they could be taken off.
Generally though, a ghost is pretty easy to see if it spacebarred or not, as it would look jerkier, with more unnecessary key presses etc. It's much easier to judge if the ghost is spacebarred with longer examples, which is another part of the reason why we're only accepting ghosts longer than 10-15 seconds.

All in all, this idea is still a work in progress to be honest. If this doesn't work, then it doesn't work, but in my opinion the best way to see if it would work is to try it.

I like the handling, but unfortunately the ghost's a bit too short for comfort, plus it's not even on the leaderboard.
It's good though, if you keep improving you'll surely make a quality ghost soon. Try rougher tracks, as suggested by Freaky above. Unless it's a very long track, or is challenging in some other way, ghosts made on smooth tracks won't generally be accepted.
