It's fine to get inspiration - that's where all tracks started. Your problem seems to be the fact that you're probably looking at other tracks whilst you're making your own which gets you in the mindset that the way a certain person has done it, is the only way to do it. Start by drawing out a rough version of how you want the track to look on paper before you touch your mouse and you'll probs find it easy to make things flow. Having not played any of your tracks (don't take it personally I don't play any), find or develop your style by just drawing sh*t and people will (maybe) stop calling you out for copying. One of my fav quotes about idea generation goes along the lines of "The person who created the computer didn't start on the computer".
I need help- what can I do to make this moose look better? the track is coming out before March, hopefully. v.2 v.3
get rid of those circles, it looks like rock detail, especially with the central highlights and as a general rule, detailing animal fur is easier when you draw bigger on a diff note tho, collab with xwinx hit 4mb
Honestly besides the way you filled it, which could be better, you mostly just messed up the shaping of the head and neck area. Also the face looks 2d looking to the left while the antlers look as if it was kinda looking at the camera. Just redo the face. Use a nice reference, preferably a 2d one
Stop focusing on shading and clean up on the bare minimum. Make sure the shaping is fine and do the basic features i.e. the eye, antler and hooves. Plus scale the thing up dude
It looks cool, but I found it a bit hard to read at first glance. "Keverything but the Kitchen ISink", "everything but the Kitchen IS ink", "Keverything but the itchen Sink", ... It's not difficult to decipher, but you might want to consider changing it a bit. I'm looking forward to it. Anyway, I don't want to spam threads with unrelated content, so here's my next "tetration's challenge" track. I made it a really long time ago and haven't gotten around to posting it. See if you can figure out how one might complete this.
it’s easy. all you have to do is follow the lines i drew. surprised it took you so long to design something so simple. +1
