Storytime #4: Famous From FRHD It landed! New Storytime peeps, I hope you enjoy it as much as the others, like for Part 5! One day in a boring Science lesson, I decided to whip open my laptop and hit some FRHD. My science teacher is literally 4 feet tall, classified as a dwarf and so dumb, no one listens to her. After telling the class to get off their devices many times, I kept my laptop open and pretended to do the work whilst being on it. I was eventually caught off guard and she caught me playing FRHD (making a track) and she said to me, "All you do is play that game and do no work at school, but you still get decent grades, what are you even doing anyway it's just a stick figure thingo." I then said to her as I couldn't be bothered negotiating my way out, "Ms, I'm making something, I'm not playing the game, but I will do some work for you." Her gaze focused more on my laptop screen and said, "You made that?!" *proceeds to look at the track I'm making* I replied, "It isn't that good, it's just an offroad type of track, and it has some cool features but..." Now, this dumb teacher does Coding Club at my School and she enthusiastically cut me off and said, "Ooooh are you making a game?! Does it have coding in it?! BRO! WTF! I don't give a facking sh1t. As much as I wanted to say that to her, considering that literally, EVERYONE, hates this teacher, I did not know what to say, but I said, "Ye, but I'm not MAKING the game, I'm just drawing." At this point, the whole class was looking my way, even the stupid quiet kid looked over. Then the teacher said, "Ooooh, it looks very interesting Thomas (my first name) come and show the class!" NAHHH..... she fr?!? It is not because I'm nervous about doing stuff like this, but it's hella weird. Never in my 5 years of playing FRHD, on and off, has anyone told me to show the class this game. I slowly walked to the front of the class where the electric whiteboard was attached to the wall. I reluctantly plugged my laptop in and the infamous white FRHD screen showed. At first, no one really gave a fack, they all either were on their own laptops or doing the work. Instead, I decided to put up my best track, Snowy Slope 4. The teacher was a bit confused but once she saw the track load, she was impressed, sadly. "Wow, this is really good, you made all of that?!" I didn't really want to say anything, but in my head, I was like "Ye I did, but another person helped." After the teacher said something, this caught the whole class' attention. I then showed the detail of the track then ghosted it casually, everyone was so impressed, surprisingly. One chick was like, "How did you make the Snowman so good?" "Girl, that is nothing compared to other detail on tracks." Some gym dude at the back of the class pointed out, "How is that bike guy thing not dead, I bet you can't ride like that." "Dude, I actually ride bikes irl, and you don't play this game so shut the fack up." This was all said before I hit the Powerups. When my Rider rode over one and the sound effect played, the whole class was in awe, even the quiet kid looked interested. "Wow, he even made sound effects too!" "You dumb Ms, I told you I didn't make all of this, that is part of the game." As I finished saying what I wanted to say in my head and completed my track first try, the class literally applauded, NO JOKE. I honestly didn't know what to feel, hyped, popular, embarrassed, it was one of the most random things ever. Later in the week, some people did some in-depth research about me and FRHD. They started telling me in class "You seriously competed 20k tracks, do you have a life but that is some achievement man!" I clearly do have a life, got money, I'm happy where I am, play sports, good grades, and a positive future, but maybe they had a point, maybe I should cut down some FRHD. But this is where things got even weirder.... Whenever I finished my work in class, I liked to secretly play games, who doesn't? Whenever it is cold outside during Recess and Lunch, I usually chill in the library to do some work, talk to some mates or play games, usually FRHD. But one week, literally everyone came up to me and said something along the lines of "Oi TP (my initials/nickname) you're on the FRHD grind again mate?" Honestly, I was done. Although I liked the Main Character vibes, I was already popular in some forms (not like cool kid or eshay popular) just lots of people knew who I was. But the last part of this Storytime is truly odd. I was checking YouTube one day and saw a notification about a comment on one of my FRHD videos. This comment came from a guy who hates me in school. And I quote what he said, "Mums if you delete it ima find u." Bro, I don't know what else to think, guess everyone knows me as the "FRHD guy" and the same people still hate me..... That's it for another Storytime, see you all soon! TPlacella
