i might consider making different varieties of trees, with some dark trunks

 

Like I was saying, just try not to go overkill with the detail. Just leave some blank areas for contrast. If you do make them darker, post pictures here so we can critique it!

 

Amazing, there is only one thing i can fault you on, and a few black lines in the straight grey sections (in the trunk, grass, etc) to give the effect of shadows, texture and roundness.
