i dont particularly like this song but it has been stuck in my head for about a week. its by vektroid who is macintosh plus (whose new song i posted before) who made floral shoppe which is that one vaporwave album everyone has heard of. anyway the song is ok. kind of kitschy, 80s-y, video game soundtrack-y or something? but catchy and enjoyable enough

 

this song and my previous post both are in the same genre of phonk, but both artists make very different sounding music (to me) and I like both for different reasons.

here i am to post my bi-weekly albums that nobody cares about then log out for another 2 weeks

ive always slept on wire but i finally listened to them because pretty much any garage rock/punk band ive ever listened to has been ripping off either these guys or devo for 30 yrs

some weird belarusian post-punk 80s style music that youtube wouldnt stop recommending me for some reason, it actually has quite a few solid tunes and i listened to the whole thing when i decided to listen to it for the 1st time

another weird, devo-worship alien garage punk album that youtube recommended. quite slaps

i've been listening to this album for like a year but it wasn't until recently that i really began to like it. i was never even able to get thru to the second half of the album before but now i realized i've been missin out


i knew about tv on the radio for even longer, probably about 3 years, but i only ever listened to their albums seeds and return to cookie mountain. they had some good songs but i wasnt too big on them, but then recently i heard one of their songs in an episode of breaking bad which introduced me to their album dear science. good stuff


nothing to say about this one, just a good song


xiu xiu was my most listened to band of the last half of 2019 so it was cool to stumble upon jamie stewart's other band by chance


another good song. i never really liked any of wolf parade's other stuff


only like this cus of the last scene in bojack horseman, that show was great
