New Song Idea - Thoughts?

had a good guitar sesh today and started hashing out some ideas for a new song, here's a very early stages version so far

would be cool to hear some feedback and see if it's worth finishing

i'm on all streaming platforms now with a couple filthy drum&bass tracks (Chucky Mayhem) but i might release some guitar-driven songs under a different artist name once i've got a good selection fine-tuned and polished ready to go

Great vibes. Drums came in pretty abruptly but then settled in and fit well. First thought in the first half was it'd be great with some vocals over a couple of those phrases repeated, very nostalgic feeling. But the riffing over them you did in the second half filled it out nicely also. Cheers

 

Fire, I always love pretty clean guitar stuff. That little harmonic strum is so nice

 

lightninggod thanks man, yeah i might cut the drums in the intro and just have them come in at the first verse. vocals would be cool, i'll see if i can find a sample that fits the vibe

as a producer myself i love the guitar chords bc for some reason it makes me think of frank ocean
if u r going to extend the song you should make the chords less repetitive and modulate to different keys (i.e. key change)
I can give you some chord progressions bc im actually taking RCM harmony 10 courses (try some sequences)
