I've suggested this myself about a year ago. They promised, but nothing yet. Why don't you use something like Facebook?
A global chat bar might get a little crazy I think. I would like a chat bar on each persons profile page. This would be better I think. What do you think Char ?
Yeah... chat servers a somewhat of a pain to manage. We don't have plans to do this in the near future. I have hooked up tiny chat, but the main issue with that is that people can fake usernames.
