very small update: I now only have 3 tracks left to get a top 100 time on, as I just got a 4th place on 100 jumps fixed!!!

I have grinded and improved my 8ths from IDs 11106 - 6750, with 9ths and 10ths being done except for a handful I skipped over for being much more difficult (for now). I will probably go back to improving the rest of my 8ths (and 9ths and 10ths when I feel inspired) for awhile until I find inspiration to pick up one of my last 3.

ID's from 11106-5000 are done now. I also was able to knock out some easier 9ths I had previously skipped which is always nice. almost at quadruple digits on 5ths as well which is nice.

it wasn't too bad, took about an hour real time but it would've been quicker if I had had the foresight to record the canvas rider ghost beforehand and watch it as I played lol

 

I have now improved my 8ths all the way from 11106-3000, I just have IDs 3000-1000 to go.

done with 8ths. there are still some easier ones that I just skipped over because I need a break. that being said I am still very proud of this (I also did one more 9th). up next is probably trying to get on one of the three leaderboards i'm currently missing, but we'll see.

as you can see i've lost some 1sts. some other very good ghosters have been doing some grinding of their own in my absence and I actually got down to around 2680 1sts at one point, although obviously i've recovered a bit. I've also managed to clear 2 new tracks, 2 autos that I previously thought may be impossible were beaten and I got my own completions to match. I also managed to improve 1 more 9th and several more 8ths that I had to clear up some of my low ranking times. lately I have been grinding some of my 7ths and have managed to get under 500 left. still a lot but not an impossible amount. we will see if I ever finish that goal. obviously the higher I go up, the fewer I will be able to improve. there are also 3 tracks which I do not have a leaderboard position on and 1 track that is possible but that I have not cleared (still working on a low input strat for that one). if I can make progress on either of those goals I will of course post it here! as an ultimate goal, if I can get at least top 10 on everything possible to do so and improve as many of my 5ths-10ths as possible then I will consider my deed done for the end of time (or until the next game releases)

earlier today I finished off blind test, which was the last unbeaten track I had as well as my 70k point milestone. figure I would update my stats and post them here to celebrate!

I can say with confidence that this is now the most 1sts I've ever had at any single point throughout this project. out of all of the possible community classic tracks, I have a first place on 28% of them.

 

grats mate been eyeing that for a while. the amount of pings ive had in the last week alone is unholy

 

I've been picking on you a bit, whenever a new friend adds me I do that for a week or two but yeah i've been grinding more for sure
