Classic Tracks

Classic tracks are a mistake in my opinion, 98% of them are stolen tracks and awful things with the name "20 likes for more". I literally played a so called "classic track" that was one small ramp and nothing else, it was less than 3 seconds long and it didn't even look good. Why was it a classic track? It specified a certain amount of likes at the end for it to be continued. That doesn't make it a classic at all.
Another issue with them is any track that is classic makes its author a classic author, this has diluted the title with track thieves and authors who just frankly don't deserve it. I think aside from certain tracks that are actually good, all classic tracks should be removed along with their authors if they haven't registered on this site. It would significantly remove the stolen tracks on here and make the Classic Author title actually respectable, instead of 60% of FRHD authors having that currently worthless star next to their name on their account.

I understand this is improbable, but oh well. This is partially just a rant anyway.

But I agree with the fract that most classic authors (even me) dont deserve that title (now most of the classics who are actually omg active is a different story)

 

Classic tracks should be like picked tracks from classic authors. Not randomized. Hand picked tracks.

 

FREEZ Classic tracks are tracks that were in the top 10,000 most popular tracks on CR when the site was stopped, FRHD imported the tracks here as classic tracks.
Elibloodthirst Lol, they weren't randomized but I'd much rather classic tracks go away entirely since they have no actual use. Just a description saying it's a classic track.
