ngl blob gang goes so hard the aura around the name and considering how we're going to rob every other team of the win, i think it's fitting
I need your help guys. I actually don't know anything about blob and I have never made a blob track in my life. Can you guys think of any legendary blob moments or tracks that I can educate myself with?
Here is probably my favourite ever blob track. https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/713577-the-underdark . The things I mainly like in playing blob tracks is consistency as the blob is prone to glitches. So if you can find a way to limit the amount of times this happens (as it will be inevitable) then that should help make a fun ride. Generally I think going really fast and the manner in which lines are connected (not too sure if fully connected lines sometimes have a problem at jumps as it’s been a while, but definitely if there is a loose line that the blob will latch onto) are the main ways in which this glitches occur in addition to angle of impact and other rarer things. Also the under dark would be a good example of a type of ride to sort of follow generally with lots of changes in direction and like when you go upside down (but gravity remains the same if you know what I mean) and make sure that the gaps are generally wide enough as blobs can sometimes “get stuck” in narrow spaces as say when you try to go left it will react with the roof(? Top side idk) and try go the other way. another one that springs to mind is this. https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/959258-ambition although there are only specific sections of the track. With this one. I found (from memory) that the first blob section was fun but a little bit too tight and would probably be prone to glitches. The second section also fun but I would highly encourage you not to use antigravity in such a way because that increases the risk of glitching and the last section definitely very enjoyable (didn’t check for any more sections so may have missed ones after bookcases).
