Whoa - long time no update! We have been heads down on the Mobile <=> Web Connecting (we will have more on that in a bit). But first, we have a small update. You will now see the last 48 liked tracks on your own profile. You will not see other players liked tracks when visiting their profile. Let us know what you think! We have some exciting stuff new updates coming in the near future!
We actually made a fix last week, where players require a certain amount of activity before voting. Are you still seeing suspicious tracks ranking?
For Mobile App: Upcoming: - Online Account to Save Data Online - Like Tracks + Liked Tracks List - Language Localization - Racing other players! - and lot's more! After that we will be pushing to Android. We will be making the Mobile App tied closer to the Web, when logged in you will be progressing on FreeRiderHD.com as well. We have some plans to refresh the Web App a bit to bring more in line with some of the style of the Mobile App (don't worry we won't go over board) and to invest some more time and effort into the editor.
Hopefully you will realize but this classic monochrome game has been around for over 10 years. Adding new vehicles isn't a problem but adding color just flat out messes up the game. I felt the same way you did a couple years back.
im looking forward to this, the editor is great but just needs some fine tuning will we see more regular updates and explanations from you devs?
Just lemme have som temporary control over the editor updates lol and I'll add tons of stuff. Like a bucket/fill tool, a tool to disable the HUD if you wanna practice ride your track, maybe one or two colors for shading things, and then there's all the stuff I would do to the mobile website... like actually having the ability to delete checkpoints when ghosting, maybe rearranging the button placement so it's easier to hit the buttons when going through tubes, as well as being able to mess with the grid size in the editor, then maybe another tool like a paintbrush to add a kinda sketched look to artwork, and a have chain-connecting curve tool as well.
