One request that we have received several times is the ability to embed a single track that people can play on their website, we are pleased to announce a new share option for tracks "EMBED TRACK" that provides HTML code that you can use to embed a single track on any website that allows iframes. For forums, we had an option to embed tracks but track links were being embedded automatically so we will have to create a new option to embed on forum stay tuned!!!! *** UPDATE *** To embed on forum just add ?embed=true to end of the track link and it will be embedded on the forum. http://www.freeriderhd.com/t/54453-frozen?embed=true
Really sweet ! Only problem that I have is that you can only include 5 pieces of media in 1 post, which means that I can't put more than five embedded tracks in my gallery
There are some bugs with the embedding on forum, we pulled it out of the announcement and will follow up when it is ready.
Yeah, It is best not to post more than that. It will really bog down peoples computers etc. Type http://www.freeriderhd.com/t/54453-frozen?embed=true The forum will auto parse the link, and create an embedded.
This. Is. SO. COOL! I was just thinking about whether or not this was possible the other day.. You guys just continue to blow my mind. Keep up the great work Eric , Char! and everyone else!
Full version is all the features on Free Rider HD: comments, rating, random tracks, draw a track, campaigns, achievements, leaderboards, ya know the full version
Eric and Char - just a suggestion/question. This very fanceh and all, but is there any way you guys could make it so that you could put in a WIP code, and allow people to test it out your tracks and stuff? I hate giving my codes to other people for them to test it - what if they steal it? By the way you have the system set it up it looks highly unlikely, but if you could figure out how to do this somehow, I would buy a flight to Vancouver and hug you both.
This is really neat function! I like it! Char Eric Track playlist idea Maybe you could add a function to add multiple tracks to one iframe, with a dropdown or some kind of basic select menu to select different tracks in the track playlist, and next and previous track buttons. Then people can create their own playlists of tracks and share them with each other. (also then it's less cpu usage to use on my website). Cheers, and as always good work fellas! - Goofy
