FRHD Avatar Support (FB, G+, Gravatar)

Depending on your method of sign-up you may notice we make a best guess at where to source your Avatar from for
in-game. Next year we will update the account settings to make selection of avatar and allowing for multiple sign-in options (Facebook, Google, email(s)).

Currently this is how it works:

Sign-up with Facebook - we will use your Facebook profile image, if you don't have a FB profile image will show default avatar
Sign-up with Google+ - we will use your Google+ profile image, if you don't have a G+ profile image will show default avatar
Sign-up with Email - we will use your Gravatar, if you don't have a Gravatar image will show default avatar

For players that registered with an email and do not have or know what Gravatar is you can read more about it on their site, but basically you will have to register the same email you used for FRHD on the Gravatar site and set up your avatar there with either a rating of 'g' or 'pg'. Images with a rating of 'r' or 'x' will not be shown!

The email that you have registered with your FRHD account, you would have to sign up for a gravatar account with your same email. If you already have a gravatar account with a different email you can add the one you used for FRHD to that one.

Unfortunately we don't plan on pulling FRHD avatars from forum.

 

Using avatars from gravatar, facebook or G+ allows us to rely on their systems to filter inappropriate images etc.

If you don't want to use FB or G+, signing up for Gravatar is easy and used on a lot of other sites.
