Here you will find attached PDF of the June 2016 issue of the FreeRider Feed, the "unofficial" source of news and discussion in FreeRiderHD for your viewing. You will also find polls for the issue's debate section. Players are welcome to write their own articles or join the team and are advised to ask me first alongside your chosen topic(s) and a piece of writing you have prepared via pm on the forums before writing as articles are not always guaranteed to be featured in issues and allows me to make a final decision. We will try to release issues with every month. If you are having trouble viewing the articles please let me know as it may be a problem with the file. Enjoy! Note: As you can probably tell we have changed the format of article release. We will now be posting each article in a separate thread.
Tbh I don't spacebar all of the time. I occasionally do on bhr. I don't on FRHD because there is no spacebar on mobile
Spacebarring isn't an issue because it's a part of the game that's there if you want to use it or not - it's not a requirement. Can't complete a track without the spacebar? No problem! play a track where you can. That's the beauty of this game. It's a fundamental part of the ghosting aspect, and it's not a 'hack' because all you're doing is using the hotkeys to help create a ghost of higher quality. A hack would be altering the game. Besides, implementing any sort of hinderance would not only effect spacebarrers, but regular players as well. The spacebar is, and always has been, a part of this game - it's just a matter of whether or not you'd like to learn to use it to it's full potential. Same goes for everything else in this game. Should we ban the track editor because some users are using it to make better tracks? No! It's there for the user to decide.
The biggest issue here isn't the space barring. It's that god awful pixelated pirate map border you got going.
AngryGroudon I can see that probably just like me, your are somewhat upset with the designated Freerider news team, thus being your reason for making this unofficial one. I completely support it, and would love to contribute, I will think of some stuff to add and PM you. If we get good at this, I would love to consider moving this toa weekly newsletter type of thing, encouraging the official news team to actually start posting monthly issues.
