    • Getting the best game performance on Free Rider HD

      Hey Everyone! :)
      Just wanted to give some pointers / tips and tricks on how to get the best performance out of Free Rider HD

      1) Close unused browser windows and tabs
      Unused browser windows and tabs can really slow down the game, and often is the main source of poor game performance.

      2) Disable / remove unused browser plugins and extensions
      Browser plugins and extensions can often do strange things to performance, and make cause your game to act strangely. For that reason it is often a good idea to disable or remove them temporarily while playing.

      3) Plug in your laptop
      When using a laptop, plugging it in can often increase performance. This is because laptops often throttle their processor and graphics cards to save energy.

      4) Check your power options
      Changing the power mode of your computer can often increase performance.
      Here are the settings I recommend highlighted in blue ( adjust accordingly)

      Automatic Graphic Switching is on the newer version of Mac OS. You should be fine.

      Ahh i'm so excited about this game!
      The game shouldn't really lag for anybody because it is a really well optimized game.
      Also, thank you for this tips and tricks and also a big thanks for making a awesome game!

      It does for complex tracks though, but really, it's well optimized than any other browser game.

      Don't really know where this goes.. but is there any way of getting rid of your best ghost? Its started coming up automatically and I prefer racing for best times without seeing my previous best.. any help would be great.
