New Editor GUI

Hey guys, just been working hard on the editor the last couple of days.

Ash has sent me his mockups of the Editor.

(Note: This is an image Ash has created, it has not been developed, though we are almost complete)
Powerup Images are not final, may be subject to change.
Let me know what you think , like or dislike.

I guess I should explain whats going on in the picture.

Left menu are tools, right menu changes based on the tool selected.

In the image powerup is selected, showing the powerups on the right.
If the line tool is selected, line type, snap etc would show on the right (as its a context menu)
The dotted box is a select tool.

I like it! I'm guessing the sidebars slide in and hide once you move around or something? What do you mean by also removing best times?

 

See where it says "best" , removing that. Never mind, I removed that sentence as its clearly confusing.

 

What do the lightning and the square thing do

Oh I see! So at the right its kinda like different things you can do with that certain tool

Also you forgot the char count

 

I meant like selecting a part of your track and moving it

 

The whole thing?

 

Select tool will allow a number of actions to take place on blocks of tracks. At first, it will allow you to select a track section, and delete it.
Eventually we can add moving etc.
