      ladies and gentlemen, here are the final results from 2024's FRHD Awards, in both the standard and decennial categories! this year we had more than 30 people vote across 18 categories, a huge turnout all considered! this year, there are a few key things i want to highlight before getting into our winners and nominations below:

      firstly, this year's track of the year award - and for every subsequent year from now on - will be called the "CityShep Track of the Year Award", named in honour of the life of CityShep, who is a 9x featured track creator and VIP. vale thomas cypress mayberry.

      secondly, i will include top 5 for each of the decennial categories, reflecting the greater importance of these categories.

      finally, i will be including all nominations for each category outside the top 3 and top 5, and will be including the number of points each nomination received from the 30 people who voted (consider these as honourable mentions).

      Epic results, without a doubt. This year was kind of an off year for me regarding FRHD since I got way busier than expected and then wasn't able to be online that often or didn't have the motivation to, not being able to keep up with all of threads I help with. So, it's really cool to have gone neck to neck with Ness for best staff member of the year, in a year where he definitely was the guy that pushed the community further with all of his projects and I didn't do as much, so it's really appreciated that I still managed to get votes. Nice to see that besides me and Ness, Eryp and Calculus were also able to share the podium, because everyone in this podium gave several contributions to the game and the forums. Also really cool that I got 3rd for Helpful/Nicest member in a tough "nice-off" against Volund and Ness, that were the goats on being helpful this year, really appreciated.

      But the best one was definitely getting 2nd place in a DECENNIAL CATEGORY! Like what? With all of the absolute legends we had around on forums I didn't really expect top 3. When I saw there were top 5s for those categories I still thought it would be pretty unlikely, so I was honestly surprised to see my name in 2nd place there. What a journey! In a year where Totoca12 will complete 12 years on Free Rider it was cool to see that I managed to have some impact in the community in the last decade and that the many hours poured into this had some retribution. Cheers, guys! Appreciate the support, happy to see the Forum Goat Elibloodthirst in first and let's see what the future holds in this community. Maybe 10-12 more years? If so, cool, let's do it. If not, it was a fun time for sure.

      Also, congrats to all of the winners, Ness really deserved his countless awards, so cool to see some recognition for Volund as well this year, he was really helpful throughout the whole year. Nice to see an epic nasrani comeback, Cerasium getting multiple deserved awards and also seeing TPlacella getting some positive feedback. The decennial awards also were great, shoutout to the big winners Anonyymi, Maple and Elibloodthirst, and also tetrationiscool and Max007x. Huge deal!

      Felt like maybe there were a couple misses here and there, like maybe a little more recognition for Calculus, maybe a little bit regarding Xenom in ghosting and mR..A in the decennial awards as well, but overall it was pretty solid.

      Really solid list, glad to be a part of this. Hope you guys had some great holidays and let's see what 2025 holds for us. Congrats again to all of the winners and also, rest in peace the legend CityShep, nice to see him get his honours on this as well. See you guys around!
