So I fixed his trial generator, have fun. I created this thread as a changelog. Click here to try it out! Expect in version 1.4: - Fully customizable beginning and ending of the track. Switch Theme - E- "Generate" and "Copy Code" buttons now have keybinds. Generate - G Copy Code - C- Fixed my profile link at the bottom not opening in new tab. - Fixed FRHD editor link at the bottom not opening in new tab. Version 1.2.1 (A small CSS edit): - Made the text selection invisible, so it doesn't look that ugly when you press "Copy Code". Version 1.1 (Style Update): - Updated site's background with stripes from Hero Patterns. - Added a tooltip to header. - Now if you click my name on the very bottom it will take you to my FRHD profile. - CSS completely revamped in dark mode. - Now the code text area is "read only". Version 1.0 (Startup): - Added the buttons - Added HTML and CSS - Created the pen. Best regards, GLSL!
Make sure to vote so I don't waste time on making the theme toggle if you really don't need that, else it's gonna take longer to update.
Nice to see more programmers joining the community! I'm not sure how much of the code is yours, but I noticed some differences between the original script Ninja sent me, and that on your pen. I'm more than excited to see where this leads. If you need other projects, I have a tube generator that needs new rules. I haven't gotten the motivation to do that yet; being that I can't think of an efficient way for tubes not to overlap other than if/else if statements. Do you have a GitHub profile? I'd like to see some of your work.
Thank you! I'm pretty new to programming and I don't have a GitHub account, I could make one. Yes, I didn't edit a lot of the code, it was mostly work with CodePen. And sure, I would like to check out the tube generator, seems like something interesting to work with.
the light/dark theme would make it more beautiful and aesthetic but i guess css is hard to program so i don't think it would be needed but it would make it cooler so i vote yes
tbh this glsl guy reminds me of quadriple, reallygood, blackgorilla, hydropanda, erikv, lol112, shock8, vscode, regulartrials, unknown2018, the_username, and dothisthis. just a weird feeling though lol! welcome to the community
I don't recognize any of those names... are they an old player? I'm really curious who this is lol who are you, GLSL? Also yes, dark mode would be great. Maybe a slider for that though because not everyone's idea of dark mode is the same.
I was a bit surprised to see reallygood, as I was talking with him quite a bit around 2020, so I didn't really think he was some sort of alt, but might have been although wasn't any top player if he was glsl is an alt though, they did say, not sure who it is because of the inconsistent ghosting style but might just be a masking effort and dark mode would be cool as well
It’s pretty cool, and having dark/light might be interesting, but I don’t know how much practical use for it there really is. If you did it I would use and like it, but I don’t know how much use it’s going to get.
Well uhh if you don't like generators just ignore this thread? Nobody forces you to use them or view threads like these.
I don't really get it, the original is in dark mode. I made a poll to ask if you wanna switch between light and dark mode. Looks like most of you approve this idea.
