Contest Remix Contest X [RESULTS]

Welcome to the Remix Contest X!

Introduction:
The remix contest is one free rider's oldest recurring contests! From oldies like Maple's Vulcan Genesis and crane's Psychosis (remixes of mPatriot's Imperial) made for Remix Contest 3 round 2, to more recent ones like Zycerak's All We Need and zwinxz's Wirrwarr (remixes of Phil38654's Moonlight Ride), the remix contest has always been a source of inspiration for all track maker to come together and produce some great tracks. Now it could be your turn to participate in one!

Rules:
There will be only 2 rounds this year (plus a practice round). I'm hoping this will encourage people to participate in both rounds of the contest and actually make things competitive, as opposed to 3 rounds like normal (where it ends up being a contest of endurance instead of a contest about making quality tracks). 3 codes will be given out, and you can choose any of them and roll with it. One is the track itself, one is the track with no gray detail (bones), and the third and final is the ride-only code. You are allowed to change the ride or look of the track however you want, as long as some aspect of the original track is preserved. The practice round will be around a week long to help you get acclimated to the idea of remixing, and then each of the two rounds with scoring will occur starting next sunday. They will run for 2 weeks, and the round will close at 12AM EST on the sunday two weeks after. Late entries will be accepted for the following 24 hours, with a point deduction.

Scoring:
Each round will be scored out of 30 points for the following criteria:
Composition - 10 points - how well put together is your track? is it cohesive?
Detail - 10 points - the quality of detail in the track
Originality - 5 points - how original is your track?
Ride - 5 points - is the ride of your track good? does it resemble the original remix still?
Each judge will also be awarding 1 bonus point to their favorite track of the round, so one track could potentially earn 33 points per round.

You will be allowed only one track per round (if you somehow manage to make 2 or more like a psychopath, please let the judges know which track you would like to be scored)

Judges:
There will be 3 judges for each round, myself, zwinxz , and a guest judge who happens to be the author of the remix track for that round.

Prizes:
1st place (overall) - US$50
2nd place (overall) - $25
3rd place (overall) - $15
Your remix is featured - $5
First place in either round - 10$
Second place in either round - 5$

an additional $20 from awesomeman82 will be distributed evenly to the highest scoring features

To determine the winner of the contest, scores from both rounds will be totaled up out of 60 points and the highest score will win.

Practice Round:
The practice round track will be Emperor Tomato Ketchup by Zycerak and will run from now until next sunday at 12AM EST . There will be no official scores for this round, but tracks will still be judged and given a score by the judges (myself, zwinxz, and zycerak). If you would like CC after the rounds, you may ask.
