NEW HACKER WAVE

Edit: Looks like NotZenblade3383 has been removed and NotChar has been created in it's place.

OK, we have had ENOUGH. TrumpNeverDies and NotChar (being the most recent and common) are now continuing the wave of hacks that HackerAlert started a while ago. I am confident that HackerAlert (now known as Zenblade) has no (intentional) fault in this. HOWEVER, this is far worse than what Zenblade had started. It is like a script is constantly running automatically going from track to track, hacking in false and .03 times and therefore flooding everyone's notifs. There is no way this is being done manually. It has been going on for at least the past several hours. We NEED to get a thread (ANY thread) about this topic liked and active, so everyone sees it. I honestly don't know what more to say about this other than that this cannot be left alone. Hacks like this can single-handedly take down this game.

Zenblade , please tell me this is not your creation. I know you used to advertise your hacks to any who asked (and then the script itself spread word lol), so your hacks are definitely out there. There has to be a way you or anyone with similar knowledge to help out the devs in forming an anti-cheat system to prevent future hacks like this. You know how these scripts work, there must be something you can do.

Shoot, I didn't realize that. That makes things even worse than they already are. More reason to IP ban them and develope anti-cheat.

so if the developers made a script that cancelled out all scores that are 0:00:00 and 0:00:03 that also had at least a 1 second difference to the closest score then it would delete all illegitimate scores
that is actually 1000 IQ

These two hackers are getting out of control, we need to stop them ASAP

 

Char told me firsthand that there are a bunch of things that they can do to prevent the amount of cheating, and he sad that he hasn't really had time, so it is easier to remove their times, rather then prevent the cheating from occurring in the first place. I believe this time calls for an IP ban if at all possible, because of a few reasons. All of these reasons are if Zenblade is behind it all (which is most likely true.) 1. He posted 4 NSFW tracks. That stuff is NOT allowed on FRHD, and those tracks should be removed. 2. He will have hacked (by the time you read this) all of the tracks on FRHD (by 5 AM PDT 3/15/20). He hacks all of the tracks to get a time of 0:00:00, which all show up as false on the leaderboards. 3. He has hacked alts. Two of his alts are NotZenblade3383 and 200000+Points. 200000+Points has stopped gaining points, but TrumpNeverDies is still gaining points. TrumpNeverDies is really, really bad though. I noticed that it gains 100,000 points every 50 minutes. *Possible Reason* Somewhere I heard that Zenblade was banned, but he unbanned himself, but I don't have solid evidence, so I won't count it as of now.

 

1. No he did not unban himself 2. IP banning is possible but it accomplishes nothing 3. Who tf cares if it's Zenblade or someone else behind this

You can trace someone back through a VPN anyways (maybe just a bit illegal but lets not talk about that)

 

I think the hackers may exempt IP ban by using dynamic IP address/ Virtual Private Network to create fake IP addresses

This has nothing to do with IP bans. But yes that's true if they decide to use a free, public VPN.

 

This is not my creation, I wish I know how to do something like this, but alas I do not.

Well that sucks. I was hoping maybe he would be open to help from any programmers playing this game. I remember a few people suggesting some scripts that could prevent hacks, but I guess Char isn't interested in suggestions...
I agree with IP banning. Seems like some people have the know-how to get their IP even through a VPN, so that would be nice. I hope Char is willing (and/or able) to IP ban. I just noticed NotZenblade3383 was removed. I guess NotChar is the new NotZenblade3383.

 

I'm going to make a bet that somehow making a completely automated system that finds out everyone's real IP address through VPN/proxy when they register will never be implemented anywhere. Only thing they can do is prevent the use of popular public VPNs, but that's not really going to help.
