I found this more amusing than I should've xD

 

I have only been hunting with a bow and guns a few times. The only thing I have killed at the moment is a rabbit with a shot gun.

 

killing a rabit with a shotgun is over kill. use a 22. And there not called guns there called rifles, shotguns, etc.

Thats hella dope, Was the turkey a tom or a jake? If it was a tom how big was its beard?

 

I know what to use and not to use but all we had at the time was a shotgun and I don't really care what there called because I know what there called and if I said "I killed a rabbit with an elipse evo light the people would have had no idea what I was on about

Yeah pretty much this. The grid here has some great aspects, as does the curve tool, but the hotkeys here are shlt and the thing lags my computer.

I'm not a vegetarian, nor do I endorse what they put animals through in slaughterhouses, but I think hunting is so redundant and cruel.
If you live in Papua New Guinea, yeah maybe you need to hunt for food, but here in first world countries? It's unreasonable and could possibly make a dent in the species population (which it does in many cases). Yes I realize it can help keep the numbers under control, but there is no legitimate reason to go out and shoot animals when the supermarket offers the same meat and they're dying anyways. Idk, I just think it's unreasonably brutal and as long as you're buying from a place that doesn't abuse their livestock there is no need to take it upon yourself. The population can control itself, as that's what it does best.

 

now I'm no hunter and I really don't like it, but I get why people hunt. hunting for food is ok, it's what people do have have done for millenia before and I don't see anything unethical about it. kill an animal, skin it, and then eat the meat. simple. one deer and/or moose can feed a family for a winter, and where I live that may actually be needed. in the middle of a blizzard, you can't really go to the local shop and buy some stuff, can you?
don't hunt for sport though. that's incredibly stupid

 

My argument is just that we live in a first world country with paved roads and food delivery services. We don't need to hunt anymore and it's just unreasonable to justify it as a means of supporting your family. If you live on an Indian reservation, maybe the bush in Alaska sure but holy crap we aren't hunter gatherers anymore. Claiming it is a sport just infuriates me, there is nothing sport-like about buying a shotgun and killing deer in your backyard with it, and yet again it's no excuse to not go and buy the animals that we torture for food anyways.

 

hunting for sport is terrible. but hunting for food is not as bad. I personally would never do it, and I would prefer the animals alive as well. but think about it, the animal meat you buy in the store is dead animal, and so is the meat you get from shooting an animal. sometimes, the meat in the store is killed more inhumanely than hunted meat. cattle run through canals that lead to their death. chickens are ground into a pulp that is used for chicken nuggets and chicken patties, and the non-ground chicken meat is made by chickens who were typically beheaded. I would post an image of a slaughterhouse, but I just looked it up and don't really want to put one here because of all the gore and stuff.

 

Yea...I agree...normally my family lives of venison for about 2 months...this year sucked for hunting...I got a buck...my dad got a doe...and that's it...usually me, my dad, and my bro get a buck and a doe each...sell the extra venison for cash...but this year was terrible...a lot of people are also big dlcks...they kill the animal and are like, oh shlt, it was a doe...I can't get that...then they leave it...my family uses someone else's tag xD...it may be illegal...but at least it doesn't waste...

Welp, I fell out with her. She treated me like sht from the beginning, and I basically told her the truth and walked out on her.
Shame she's too oblivious to hear the real truth about her. Calling me her "best friend" but talking to other guys more than me. Says she's off to bed at like 9:30/10pm, but then stays up for like 2 more hours. I mean heck, she doesn't even care if I'm depressed.
