I know how to fix this problem. Its actually quite simple if you think about. First off just remove the entire trending section altogether. Then replace it with a section featuring my tracks.
Lol however the mentioning of better or good authors in my opinion is a little start to getting rid of the stupid trending tracks that are horrible
Okay, so a bunch of people came forward saying that they have been doing the same. We are not going to bring up names, as many people were involved. Its not a huge deal, but it does affect the community. I don't know for sure if jroles was doing it, and there we're a lot of people involved. I think that we just need to look at different ways to bring content forward. I do like the plays idea, but we shall see. We will keep everyone posted
Char for real though. A good idea would be to make two trending sections. One that was trending for official authors and the other for non-OA or newbs (i guess that's what you could call them?) p.s. what is char talking about?
I think there needs to be consequences for the people doing it, no matter if they came forward in a pm to you (cowards). Afterall they put people down and made alot of people get less reckognition for their work, solely to draw attention to themselves. It is an utterly bullsh*t move, and I don't care if they have "feelings" to be protected. This type of people are the garbage of humanity, and I hope you all read this and shame yourselves.
No it's just saying if your downviting them in spite of them to promote ur track say I just uploaded a track then see someone in front of me at the hot list so i down vote them that is what they are saying not to do I think
char you should make a team of people that know what a good track is and make a subsection of tracks that they find good, maybe not feature able but good
This has brought up before. In the Notable tracks thread, it would be cool if I could be one but I probs don't have enough experience
I could be one if ya need...I will be extra picky about it too...example:none of my tracks would've made it...
