      No what happened to Cali is there are so many almond farmers sucking up 2000+ gallons of water a minute in their pipes when they irrigate, but no one likes to talk about that because farmers "feed the nation" which is false when almost every farm is almonds and 70% of almonds of exported to China, India etc. Then our government passes bills like "You can't water your lawn more than twice a week" or "Restaurants can't serve you water unless you ask" which are going to do nothing in the big picture.
