custom profile settings

I hate that when someone clicks on my profile they auromatically see my recently played page. Can we change it so my tracks will be the default page? Just an option, not for everyone because some people only play for times.

EDIT: This is strange. When I click someone's name under their track, it takes me to created tracks, but when I click someone's name in comments, it takes me to ghosts.

 

Honestly i just want to be able to choose what people first see whenever they click, comments or not. Being a track maker, i want oeople to see my tracks, while actual players might want to show their ghosts. I think it should just be ab option. Also while they're at it, different profile colors, banners, fonts, etc? Personalized accounts would be cool and more distinctive of each persons taste.

 

i totally agree. i randomized to a sex track earlier, dont want that on my profile.

 

Yeah. If you play a bunch of sucky tracks, when people click your name, they will see the sucky tracks instead of your tracks.

 

Kinda like the old youtube banners and stuff! That would be cool if we actually had a youtube layout where you can put a cover of your own

 

Yeah! Not allowing too much personalization though, because, lets face it: not everyone here knows **** about graphic design. I can see the comic sans and horrid color combos already...

 

omg noooooo. Honestly mine would look pretty sexy. When it comes to graphics it has to be perfect in my sense, that's why I'm so great at web design and graphic design Also, maybe not color changes, but there should be color schemes available to change.

 

Exactly. Preset color schemes made my actual graphic designers, and VERY limited fonts. Profile banners that can be uploaded from any image source, and different layouts depending on what you want people to see (Tracks I've made, in my case). Lets face it, some people are skilled, and I wouldn't want to limit their choices- but for every one skilled person, there's 50 comic-sans-type people. XD

this is me just messing around obviously, but I think this could be pretty cool. I didn't change some of the blue, so thats why it doesn't look "amazing". Also, not sure if this meets triple A standards for colors (I'm pretty sure the black on salmon meets the standards, but the white probably doesn't )

 

How did you make it orange?

 

oh hell yes. I think a more night mode / dark grey would look nice with the salmon. Not super dark though. Oh, and i think that the "created tracks" tab and the "ghosts" tab would swap positions, because if you'd selected that as your home page then it'd probably go first. Also, idk if the sidebar should change according to the profile you're on, because that's personal according to the user and unrelated to the profile.

 

It's not actually salmon colored, he did that in photoshop or a similar program.

It all depends on where users are coming from. If users visit your a track author link, it will show your created tracks.

I understand where you are coming from. I don't think we are going to change it any time soon. Mainly due to the amount of stuff on our plate.

Theres an extension where you can edit the css easily. I'll probably make a downloadable skin, through an extension. I'll see what I can do! There will be skins in no time, but it will be 3rd party so you will be the only one seeing it
