I don't like how the same tracks are also always on trending - if you do make it new be sure to make it always change
Almost every new well detailed track trends... just saying, and if they got rid of trending, we would lose a lot of players including me.
Make it so only new detailed tracks trend. The ratio of bad tracks to good tracks on trending is probably greater than 1000 to 1
no offence but the 2d bullshit that gets posted and makes trending isn't detailing, stigs mario track didn't make it trending I dont think. Black magic didnt even make the top of the page. The damnn page just gets filled with 2d "detailed" bullshit and it needs to be brought to an end
settle down and stigs track did make it to trending but i think it stopped recieving likes once they found out its a trace
Its the trending tracks wether you like it or not. If the majority of FRHDers are noobs then it looks like they have the power; however, the ability to change the sidebar from the trending tracks to something else would be cool.
are you mentally ill? he traced parts of the characters. Id love to see you draw what he does, it would look like a pile of ****. And the way he details is proof enough that hes better than you
I don't know where I stand. When your track gets trending, you feel great. When an amazingly detailed tracks goes trending, I feel even better. However, this rarely happens. Most of the time it is 2d noob tracks, or tracks that use the grid and say it's 3d. Some people said that the noobs will eventually get bored and leave. I don't think this is going to happen anytime soon. I'm suggesting a "staff-picked" section. The only catch is that Char, Eric, Ash, etc. won't be picking the tracks. They will pick who picks the tracks. Sorta like the featured tracks moderator. If you track gets picked, it will stay on the list for one week (this can change. It was just a suggestion). There will be NO order on the tracks popularity, so there will be a little note that people can see to tell them to try ALL the tracks. I strongly think this idea will work. It lets great authors get views, and amazing authors too. Lo and behold, noob tracks are not here, but the list is constantly changing, so you can see great new tracks! Well, that basically renders featured tracks useless. It's stupid, I honestly think they should keep the trending but with someone to moderate it removing trending tracks that actually don't deserve to be there or something.
Yeah, but they should make it so only tracks like terminal get on there. In my opinion, the FRHD developers aren't doing enough to discourage people from liking bad tracks just because they are on trending. I think Char and Eric should have a "Track rating guide" that tells people which tracks are good and which are bad, because people don't seem to know the difference.
I just thought of a solution to the problem. The problem right now is that the like button is a meaningless function, when someone likes a tracks that doesn't mean they actually like it, they just vote mindlessly to get their daily achievements. The game achievements are actually the root of the problem, which is why on canvas rider great tracks got the most publicity because there wasn't anything motivating people to rate a track except for the track itself. We don't need to get rid of the achievements though. There just has to be a favorite track function, this will be vital to the trending page. Let's say a favorite on a track will count as 10 likes (the likes will not be shown, it's just what will count towards the trending page). There can not be any achievements for favoriting a track though, otherwise this is useless. If you think about it this will actually work, because people aren't going to just favorite any track, they will wait until there's a track that is legitimately good.
I used to like almost every track no matter how bad it was - now I see that I was part of the problem and dislike bad ones and like actual good ones
