Btw, just a top, but it looks like the branches are glued on rather than connected naturally to the tree

 

Just a suggestion, use reference pictures for fonts and objects.

Posting this for the frhd n00bs who don't know who I am. Also 'cause this is going to be a LOT heavier than I expected and will take a lot longer than I expected as well...at least 3x the time I originally planned to put into it, pushing the release date far into the future. So I'm gonna give y'all one last taste before it gets heavy. Here's a pine tree for ya. Enjoy. Currently at 1700k

Thanks! You're right to assume they take a long time, they do. It's hard to make them all seem to face the right way (the branches) but the outcome is worth the effort. But IMO I gotta make it at least somewhat heavy because a super dense tree with no surrounding detail sticks out like a sore thumb.

 

imo, you should try to put some more shade into the back branches, and the bark behind the branches. i think it could 1up it. looks good already tho
